I am in exactly the same decision making process as you. I want the fenders for sure to help clear 37's. If I can get away without bedsides I will - that's some major truck surgery there. I am fairly good with installs - have done spoilers, wings, suspension, motor stuff, etc myself for decades. I can handle installation of flares if they are bolt-on. But, like you, I have no interest in hours of fiberglass work to make them fit. Drilling holes, etc is easy.
The main choices are:
Fiberwerx
ADV
McNeil
Boatec
SDHQ
I have seen videos and firsthand that the Fiberwerx fit like shit - LOTS of fiberglass work needed.
McNeil - Good looking fenders, but they don't have fender liners.
Boatec - Also good looking. One thing to note is the Boatecs have a smaller "fender flare" (the part you can remove on the stock fenders) than the others. Looks more OEM. And even though they all advertise as being +2, the Boatecs don't seem to be as wide as the others - which some find to be a good thing when not running mid or long travel suspension. Boatec does make fender liners
SDHQ - I have heard good things about them. They sound like good quality. I'm unsure if the have liners though.
ADV consistently comes out on top as far as easiest to install. They do make liners as well. I have had knowledgeable vendors on here tell me guys have installed them in just a couple of hours.
There will always be exceptions of course - fenders are hand made and subject to variances. Personally, I think I'm about 90% sure I'm going with ADV. Only drawback i see is the "fender flare", which is molded in and not removable on any or these, is quite large and doesn't really match the stock rear flares. This is the same though for all the fenders except Boatec. Might be able to find some rear F150 flares that are a bit bigger? Not sure on that point though
I think it would be great if there was a vendor who carried most of these brands, at least all except Fiberwerx, could take some side by side pics from the same angle so we could really see how they differ in appearance. I kinda doubt that will ever happen though.
