Hey guys, 1st post here. I'm a regular over on the other site. I put in an order for a 2011 white Scab on 11/13/2010. It took me longer than normal to get a VIN and now my truck has been held up in quality holds and also what I'm hearing is a lack of rail transportation from Dearborn.

Just wondering if anyone has any advice. I've followed all the normal paths - screaming at the dealer, calling Customer Care, and calling SVT. I'm about to loose it. I hate to walk away from my order but damn this is getting rediculous. If anyone has any good contacts with Ford or at Dearborn, a PM with that info would be much appreciated.

ordered: 11/13
VIN: mid Jan
Build Date: 2/16
Original ETA: 2/28
Current status: "awaiting shippment"

Thanks - looking foward to participating here.

Man the flooding is crazy. Last week I had to go through 3 inches of running water over the tracks. It looked like my train was floating in a middle of a lake. They have since then shut down that railroad line. Trains are getting rerouted around that river. That was near Mitchell SD. I heard today that they had a major line up near Minneapolis shut down. There is word I might get to sit at home and collect money cuz the flooding is so bad. Sorry for the bad news man. Try to stick it out it will be worth the wait. I had to wait 6 months for mine. I don't regret it at all.

Thanks guys. Lot trucks around here are going for over Msrp. I have this one ordered at close to invoice. I want the truck, but not bad enough to eat that big difference in price. Will continue waiting for now. Most aggravating thing is I know people that ordered in January (late January even) and already have a truck in their driveway. Ford logistics makes no sense.....

Call customer care again and tell them you want to open an investigation as to why your truck is still sitting awaiting shipment. They should have someone on it real quick.

Welcome Al. About time you made it over here. Maybe Randy here can run your VIN and see what is going on? If you are a member on BON there is a Ford employee that will check VIN numbers. Takes a couple of days.

It appears that trucks have started moving. Mine sat since 3/7 and just changed to "in transit" yesterday. Hopefully yours will be rolling soon.

On opening the case - done that several times and it has yielded no useful information. Other than at one point they did tell me truck was "on hold for quality check" and that was weeks ago. I have a case open with them now in fact and I am in regular email contact with the FCC rep that opened it. He says it's been escalated but I'm skeptical that their "escalation" will help anything. ....

Cool thanks. I'm seeing lots of familiar screen names. :)
