As someone who likes both Gen1/2, I don't think the Gen 1 looks "old" next to a Gen 2, exterior wise. Still looks badass.
It's the interior that puts the Gen 2 ahead of the Gen 1 among other things.

Finally saw a Gen 2, black one, in person. Very nice truck.
