100 Mph Dry Lake Bed Runs..

My co-pilot had the day off, so we grabbed the hounds and headed out South of town.
We have never been out here before. We got extremely lucky today. The only other people running the lake bed were a couple of folks flying an Ultralight.
I imagine this would be very dangerous on the weekends, when several people running at the same time would make it impossible to see beyond 30’.
After running the lake we headed into Mountains. A Fantastic day, 65, no wind and amazing Desert to see without any people

It’s pretty big by yourself but would get small real quick if you added a bunch of folks. Saw one Can-am making a speed run on the opposite side.
Stateline has the HUGHE lake bed.
My Gen1 had the 100mph limiter, did that running Death Valley
It was short enough that I had to brake hard at the end. Didn’t want to try turning and catching the rim on a rock and Rollll through the Desert like that guy at Raptor Assault

Get you a drone , my buddy has one that does 90 mph and will follow you automatically . Looks pretty cool from above with a wall of dust behind you at speed.
