Hey everyone, for those on here that live in CO....have any good recommendations on mechanics? Particularly ones that are very adept at vehicles with a supercharger? I am due for a spark plug change, and with the Roush on it and the general pain-in-the-assery with the bottom plugs I have elected...
I've got a 2013 Raptor with 6.2 of course. Love it! Been a great truck. However,
Recently I noticed a ticking sound under the hood. A louder and different one than the normal ticking I usually hear. Upon further inspection I could see Cylinder #7 (third back from the front on the drivers side)...
So I got my ruthenium spark plugs from an authorized NGK source (ngk.com). I got the right part number (verified several times and with tech). When I went to do the job I compared the old to the new and the NGK plug is several mm taller...wtf? This can’t be normal, can it?
I haven't seen anything come up on my searches for ruthenium spark plugs so forgive me if this has been posted before.
My question to the community is what do you think about these new ruthenium spark plugs offered by NGK?
Has anyone tried them on their raptor yet? I'm asking about 6.2L...
