A few years back I broke and replaced a couple of the spring clip style nuts on the front skid plate (identified as HN2 below) on my 2018. Yesterday I broke one on my 2020, along with its equivalent that would mate up with bolt "HB1" on the rear of the front skid.
I have the correct rivet nuts...
Went to remove the heavy gauge front skid plate on Gen2 (2018) and the rear driver's side bolt wouldn't budge. Put a little more effort into the socket wrench and "snap"!! Now the bolt just spins. Tried putting downward pressure on it with a pry bar...no luck. Still spins.
Have read about...
Just removed the bumper and skid plate from my 2020 Raptor with about 4K miles on it. In perfect condition, as the truck has yet to go off-road. I’m located in Portland, OR and will meet anyone within 50 miles, but unfortunately cannot ship.
Asking $350.
