I am in the exact same boat, but with my 2014 Gen 1. Shocks are wearing, truck is near paid off (bought in 2017), and at nearly 80k miles. Have a dealer willing to do MSRP on a 37 edition...but who knows when it would show up
thats the concern I have. You get a decent trade value now, but...
My GT350 has an exhaust rattle with its active exhaust if the temperature is below 50 degrees. Goes away if I open the valves or the exhaust heats up.
My wife's ecoboost explorer also have a slight rattle upon startup. Goes away pretty quickly.
Random find though, her car had another...
Most of the automatic ones around me will not fit it. Furthermore, with the high pressure water, i'm concerned if it will damage the matte vinyl on the truck. Best to do the manual ones or wash it at home.
As was mentioned above, there is room to negoitate the ESP. Don't think for a second that that is the fixed cost.
Personally, I plan to extend my ESP when it expires. Truck just puked a second heater core after having it replaced just last year. I find a lot of relief in going "meh...
Is anyone aware of a Raptor Reputable Performance shop near Western PA? If there isn't one near by, whats the closest?
Strongly debating supercharging the truck and want it done right (which means not by me lol)
Speaking of the rear window trim, does anyone know if you can replace just that trim? Mine was damaged when I bought the truck and have always wanted to replace it if possible.
Has anyone bought these and tried them?

I've been feeling a dragging of late, and I swear I can hear a light wisp of air but can't locate it. It wouldn't be the first time I've had...
Let me help you....there is a Gen 2 portion of the forum....you will find your assistance there.
In Gen 1...we have gas hungry V8s....and our engines stay on :)
The thermostats that they put in these trucks are junk, I've had one expire every 30k miles.
I'd buy a new thermostat and gasket, swap them and try again. It sounds like the one you have is stuck open.
All of your comments apply, if you live in a climate where calcium chloride and brine are NOT used. For those of us in the north, you fight not only mechanical wear and degradation, but also chemical warfare on your frame and body, which can eventually ruin even the best cared for vehicle.
I often think the same thing, but then think, why would I want 2 of the same vehicle. Gotta mix it up. Wear the Gen 1 out, say you had your fun, move on :)
I had the chance this weekend to replace the thermostat. I saw people on other F150 forums say that changing a thermostat was like a 35 minute job. I wanna know how rapidly they are moving, because on my first try to replace this, it took me dang near 3 hours with the first air purge.
I found...
I think thats what I'm going to do. Did you just remove the hose downstream and just lost some coolant onto the the floor? You didn't drain the entire radiator, right?
Just noticed this in the last couple days. Its about 30-40F outside.
Truck will heat up normally, but when I start coasting anywhere, the temp gauge will start going back toward 'cold'. On typical coasting, it will come back enough to uncover the temp symbol. On a big hill, it will come back...
