Like many of you guys, I like doing many of the maintenance items myself. Has anyone with an extended warranty claim been denied if you’re not having the maintenance services done by Ford ?
Ohh Wow..I thought they would have had the IWE issue all taken care of. I thought they went to motors on the newer fords for the IWEs. The extended warranty may be worth it for this alone, that’s providing its fixed properly though. I chased the IWE issue on my prior truck. Hopefully this is not...
That’s cool. Do they roll the oil changes in with the premium care ford ESP as well as extended bumper to bumper warranty coverage? I currently have premium care with oil changes /tire rotation on mine. It expires at 36k miles though.
Ohh Wow...that seems slightly higher than average miles driven. Probably need some people’s input with more miles logged. Good play on the extended warranty, nice cheap insurance. How long is your coverage good out until?
Just curious of any issues Gen 3 owners have faced if any with higher mileage trucks if you have one. Only asking because I know the factory 3/36 warranty burns up quickly. I have had two f150s prior to this but traded them around 65k with no issues to note. What would be the life expectancy out...
Haha , nice. I like the sense of humor. Thats kind of what I was thinking, light application of the heat gun. Thanks for the tip on the 303 spray, I’ll look into picking some of that stuff up.
Does anyone have suggestions on how to get light scratches off of the interior plastic door panels ? It feels like you look at these things and they scratch up. Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated.
I like what you did there. I have a 2024 antimatter blue 35 package and am looking to do a similar setup with r wheels. Is the stance a little wider? Any other perks besides the wheels looking better and being beadlock capable?
Yeah , I need to dive into using forscan for sure. Is it possible to run the 37ko2s on the R wheels with stock suspension off road or would it just cause damage ? I may just get the r wheels and pop the stock tire size on there if that’s the case.
I like the idea of getting that done with the Ford performance ecu upgrade. Unfortunately, I don’t think the upgrade is available for the 2024 model year. Maybe I’m wrong...?
Good to know. After you installed the springs did you adjust your speedometer to accommodate the larger tire diameter ? If you did what was your method in order to adjust it?
Hey Guys, I’m new to the forum and I know this question may be redundant. Has anyone run the raptor r wheels and stock bfg 37s without an issue on a 35 package? I’m mainly wondering if anyone was able to recalibrate the speedometer with forscan? I’m trying to keep the truck as oem as possible...
