I think once you go to a few its not as exciting as you think. Feels like it gets worse every year. Used to be able to register easily with a fake business card but I have heard they are cracking down on that. Years ago at least you could end up with a bunch of cool freebies from the...
Genuine question. Do you guys carry your car keys when you are traveling or not with the car? I hate having crap in my pocket so if I was in a rental I would not be carrying my key with me.
Selling a pair of used RPG spring collars off my 2019 Raptor. Orange color that matches the live valve suspension. Used for about 5k miles. Selling for $150. Local pickup preferred. Will ship if buyer pays shipping. Located in SF Bayarea near SFO. Installation available at an additional cost...
We charge $460 to install them. Located in San Bruno near SFO and have worked on numerous Gen 1 and Gen 2 Raptors. We remove the whole spring/strut to install them. If someone has a portable spring compressor they could probably do it alot faster. In my experience most professional shops do not...
I've found most of the trails in Tahoe close for winter. Are you staying South lake or North lake? MET aka Mormon Emigrant Trail is open year round and they do not plow roads there. There will probably been a few feet of fresh snow. I do not recommend you go out on your own. I'm not sure the...
I'd take vehicle inspections all day any day over smog checks. Vehicle inspections ensure the safety of the car and in my opinion is more important then smog checks.
I wouldnt replace my current Raptor with a Bronco, however I don't plan to buy a new Raptor unless they come out with a SuperCab again. Wishful thinking.
Only way to prevent this is to garage the truck and never drive it. Just happens sometimes. Its not a problem. Grooves can happen on road or off road. Its not the fault of Ford or anyone else.
Ive traveled that direction pretty frequent. Never noticed anything out of the ordinary in my 2019. That section can be pretty bumpy and depending on speed it can be better or worse. When I sold my Gen 1 and got the Gen 2, I noticed right away that it rode smoother. I attribute alot of it to...
I actually didnt bother looking at the link until you mentioned it again. Its no point in arguing this. All I was trying to say is that it should not be referred to as an "e brake" or "emergency brake" for the reasons I already explained. In the manual its referred to as an electronic parking...
I don't understand what we are arguing about. I stand by what I said.
For example: If you are doing 70mph and the car in front suddenly stops, I would never think to hit the emergency brake. By calling it an E-brake, it makes non educated or non car people think they can use that in this type...
I guess I misread or misunderstood something. I thought you felt that there was a common problem with the CV boots and I was saying its a normal thing with lifted and lowered cars.
