I don't have the Airlift 5000 bags on my Gen3 yet, but I had bags on my Tundra for towing/heavy loads. Mine was set up manually, I only used them once a month or so. For me it was worth the added cost or complexity. When I get mine I'm going to go manual.
Very carefully...
Measuring and mapping the exact location for the holes to be drilled took the most amount of time. There are a few area's under the truck bed that you need to be careful around, electrical, fuel, area's with no access and bonded panels. For the few area's that had limited...
From another forum on the topic of oil, someone who works in the oil industry suggested the following for Ford 3.5 EB engines:
"Mobil 1 European car formula
Pennzoil Euro
Kendall Euro
Non euro:
Any major brand full synthetic is also more than enough"
"My problems with Rotella:
1. It foams...
Crawl under the truck and measure the depth of the stock pan and skid plate gap. Measure the depth of the new pan and do some math. Report back, I'm sure there are more people wondering how the fit is.

I haven't hit anything with the Raptor yet, but my Tundra I had previously racket up some points. 3 Coyotes, 1 Javelina, 1 Racoon and a bunch of Dove. Oh, and a "domesticated" dog when I was in Mexico. I was going about 50 when it ran in front of my truck. Hit it with the passenger recovery...
As I mentioned earlier, I did the Standard L-Track in the same place insangsong78 a few weeks ago. This past weekend I added Airline L-Track to the bed floor.
Just using them for tie points right now. When/If I get around to mounting L-Track to the bed floor I'll try my hand at mounting coolers, containers and a floor jack.
I added L-Track to the bed in a couple of places. I had this in my Tundra and liked the flexibility it offers.
Materials used
2 - 6" Standard L-Track from US Cargo
1 - 48" Standard L-Track from US Cargo
