Mine does not have one, that was a requirement for me. Never use them don’t want to pay for something I don’t use and don’t want to worry about it leaking or breaking.
Had 2014 ram 1500 hemi and 3.21 gears. Bought a 25’ boat and the truck struggled. Bought 2019 ram 2500 Cummins for two reasons, to get rid of that damn rotary knob and pull the boat. Boats gone now so trying the Raptor.
3.21’s are there standard gear set. It’s too tall a gear, it makes the transmission hunt for the right gear to be in all the time it’s extremely annoying. With the 3.92’s it’s a much better combination.
Rams are smooth especially with the airbag suspension. I was looking for a change and a sportier driving experience. Yes gripes (observations) are very small and I was looking for a change. Wife says I don’t do well with change.
The guy that did the ceramic coat took them off. He said it’s super easy when the truck is new, didn’t even charge anything for it. My first thought was to remove the hood graphics and the pattern on the side of the bed only leaving “Raptor” on the side. The pattern on the side didn’t bother...
Thanks I’ll try manual tomorrow. I have not tried forscan on the truck yet. We are an apple house so I had to borrow a nieghbors windows machine for the bronco. Waiting to get more solid info and success stories from those better than me before I try it.
Things I would like to change, Bambi...
I did consider Line x in the wheel wells but my experience with it in the bed it can sometimes hold on to dirt stubbornly and I feel the plastic liners will release the mud easier. Also was worried about line x getting places I didn’t want it.
The last 24 years Ive driven Ram trucks, 4 1500's and lastly a 2500 Cummins. Sold my boat 2 years ago and had not put a trailer behind the Cummins in 2 years so it was time for a change. Wanted a smoother ride and more get up and go. Enter my new 2024 35" Raptor. Easily 95% of my driving is...
Flew for virgin America starting 2010, left in 2014 to go back to United Airlines. Was in San Fran then Kennedy. I’m new to Raptor deal as well. Drove rams for 23 years and wanted to try something different. I was a Comair guy years ago. Dave Kelley, Matt Sanderson, Dave Ryan, Shawn Murray...
Hello. IusedtoflyforVirgin. Went back to United before the Alaska merger. Richard “Buck” George. In Houston now and just got my first Raptor a 2024 35” tire truck. What’s your name and we’re are you based now?
4Dtech does look way easier to install. Called them they are out of stock as of todays date 4-26-24 was told they would have more in 2-4 weeks.
Also asked them about there auto door lock disable device. They do not offer for the 2024 year model. I was told ford removed something from the...
I installed one on my wife’s bronco and it works as advertised. I got a 24 model 2 days and was about to order one for my Raptor. Please let us know what you find out.
First night trolling around and I have a stubby antenna and OEM black lug nuts on the way. Appointment to get line-x bed liner installed. Probably going to put another Flipbac bed cover on, have had two others and like them. Buying the truck is just the beginning my wallet will bleed a...
Yesterday I turned this
Into this
The Ram/Cummins was great but I hadn’t hooked a trailer up to it in 2 years. It just wasn’t any fun as a daily driver. Gonna read a bunch here and learn. Then figure out what I’m going to do to make it mine. It’s gonna be fun.
