    How To Stainless Works Headers

Well, I feel dumb. When I first started my truck up after install, I had forgotten to plug in the rear o2 sensor. Definitely not a pleasant sound with exhaust hissing out of that port. It obviously threw a code for that. Well I got it fixed up and started it up, no problems but I forgot to clear...

High flow cats. When you say harness are you talking about the plastic piece where that the sensor gets mated to?

    How To Stainless Works Headers

After 2 days, 27 hours of work, and at one point 12 different hands on the truck, I got it finished. It sounds awesome! It's unfortunate that SW has had so many issues with the bolts they ship out, and I think it's kind of ridiculous when you consider how much these setups cost. But I will say...

    How To Stainless Works Headers

Yeah it was a header bolt. I had to just really work it in there, but it never was a perfect fit. Also on the subject of header bolts, one of the bolts from stainless works was the wrong size. Ended up having to use a stock nut and stud. I have heard a lot of people having these kinds of issues...

    How To Stainless Works Headers

Yeah I actually had to drop it/raise it until it would go in all the way. Now I'm just having trouble with one bolt on the right side that doesn't seem to want to go in straight. I check the bolt for damage and it looks fine. Not really sure what to do.

Any advice on getting the right side header in there? Manifold came out fine but I am getting hung up on the bellhousing.

Good luck man. Mine has been quite the experience thus far... Did you guys use anything to clean the gaskets, or surface where the gasket mates up to the engine on the engine itself?

    How To Stainless Works Headers

Yeah I ended up having to add some wooden block spacers on the jack to get enough lift on the motor. I'm calling it a night. I got 13/16 of the nuts and studs. 3 more on the bottom of the driver side manifold. Starting bright and early tomorrow. Appreciate the help man.

    How To Stainless Works Headers

Already got the bolts out. Stock manifolds are still on. Air box and intake are disconnected. I am jacking under the oil pan with some wood. How much lift did you get on the engine? I added more blocks to get some more lift, and have gotten it up probably 1/4". How much do I need?

    How To Stainless Works Headers

Thanks for responding man. I really don't know what is going on. It's just the two nuts and three bolts on the right motor mount, right? Can you think of anything else that would prevent the motor moving up? I unbolted the transmission from the cross member mount but that didn't seem to do it.?

    How To Stainless Works Headers

Hi, I really hope you guys might be able to help me. I have kinda gotten myself in a bind. Did you have to remove the bolts on both the left and right engine mounts? Or just the right like the instructions say? I have been trying to jack the engine but the whole truck just comes up. Right now I...
