I'm glad you gave your perspective. You're absolutely right. I've been lucky enough to own some cool cars, starting with a '66 Mustang I6, through many others. I wanted them all to be as nice as I could make them. Even the junkers. My last truck was a '10 Platinum F150 and it served me well...
An understandable way to see it, but I only "ranted" after mentioning, with plenty of self-awareness that the truck was going in for recalls and TSBs NOT related to interior details and I was going to bring these things up. Everybody knows the expectation, that's why it's something worth...
I already made fun of myself for this, but thanks.
It's amazing how many people just love accepting incompetence and ******** quality these days because how dare you be so audacious as to at least ASK to get what you paid for? You guys let the waiter spit in your food and just eat it, too...
I remember years ago looking at a Bullitt Mustang when they first came out. Salesman told me "Yeah, it has an independent rear suspension!" I said, "Really? It shouldn't". He insisted, so I lay on the ground and stare at the solid axle, telling him what I'm seeing and he's still telling me it...
I'm pretty new here and I only have a regular Gen3. ("Only" lol!) I just have to say I wouldn't have known about the flame fest that this guy was in for. I also never would have taken an allocation on a total whim, though. Hmm... Must be nice to have too much money.
Lol! I know exactly what you mean! Wait til I try to get them to replace my steering wheel because of the weird asymmetrical lumps where your thumbs rest! Warranty departments do get a kick out of me.
So, they're actually too inept or don't care enough to check if it's fixed or if they replaced a bad part with another bad part? Some owners do say that their consoles work properly, so I'm assuming this isn't an issue that is simply a part of the design, but rather a defect that affects a...
I don't think .125" is big enough to make a strong coat hanger. Do you mean it's bigger by .125"? Or is it actually 1.25"? I'm guessing it's the latter, but poorly written copy on marketing material and your official website makes me not want to give you $1,250 for a sway bar.
I was thinking of trying to achieve the same effect with some red paint. I like the idea of a Ford designed tow point as it's also a frontal impact component and designed with a bunch of crash testing, etc.
Speaking for myself, I'm looking for a set of 20" wheels with same tire height for a smaller sidewall and better street handling. Stock tires come off the 17" OEMs and I put a nasty set of mud tires on them for when I'm not just driving to work.
