Because of the amount of offroading I do, I went ahead and ordered the limit straps. I sure don't want to spend rebuilding the shocks. Let's see.
Geiser wrote back saying it should go with time. @BBR exactly what you said
Just to update this post.
I accessed the radar behind the plastic panel on the bumper. There are essentially 3 bolts holding it. One on top and two at the bottom. The one on top manges the vertical alignment. The two at the bottom manages the horizontal movement.
I focused on the bottom...
Update:
I went offroading today and really pushed the truck. It seems the thud noise I was hearing got a lot less. It is no longer jerky like before. I still feel a bit of limitation. It also feels the front springs settled in.
But those 2 upgrades made a huge difference offroad.

Hello everyone,
Truck:
Got myself a used screw 2020 raptor with stock wheels and tires.
Purpose:
I mainly drive the truck in the sandy desert dunes. Speed driving and dunes climbing.
Experience:
My first drive in the desert was awful. Bouncy , bucking, and front hits hard. Rear tires...
I have this issue also but it is interment . This is the best video that showed how to change the selonoid . He is using a tool from RPG. I don't know how you get around it .
Just as an update:
Until I figure out what's wrong with the sensor, I was able to disable adaptive cruise control while maintaining regular cruise control .
I used forscan thru IPC module and changed the attached settings in the screen shot.
Thanks
@smurfslayer thanks . I tried thinkdiag 2, which also provide service level diagnosis , I couldn't recalibrate using it .
I can see the module , I can reset it but cannot recalibrate . Not sure if I should give up and bite the bullet .... I just wish I can just have cruise control lol...
Hello
I have been browsing the forums for a long time . I have always been able to find a solution thanks to the amazing community . However this time around I'm stuck
Background:
Driving like crazy in the desert and hit the front of truck-bumper (ford f150 2020). There was no physical damage...
Hello, thank you OP for this.
I had a tune and VDM didn't show. Went back to stock.
Interesting bit: On my first attempt as the instructions suggested, I created new profile in forscan when it prompted me.
Then I went to stock and fired up forscan, I made the mistake 9f loading the last...
Now that I am thinking about this more, most of my driving is across sand dunes and not in a striaght line. So dust is not an issue.
I think a higher positioned light is what I should go for first on this raptor.
Just wondering if the s8 would really block air flow as much am I am imagining ...
@shigman @smurfslayer
Thank you both.
Both suggestions make sense . Being a jeep owner for so many years , rest assured that I have every combination you can think of lol. Yes those cheap Chinese lights make you do wonders .
I was hoping to keep things look as stock as possible .
Last time...
Hello everyone ,
As a desert driver , I would like to ensure that I install the best lights for maximum coverage .
I've been debating between BD s8 30inch behind the grille and BD fog light kit ( driving /spot /wide ) or maybe 2 driving and one spot.
What are your thoughts ? Higher is better...
