    Curious, if one were to just replace the rear springs with Deaver springs, just the 1" lift, would anything else need to be swapped out, and is the ride quality improved that much? This isn't intended as a thread jack, just wanting to add more info to this thread.

    While I don't have one of their starters, I do have a Powermaster alternator on my '57. I've had no issues with it at all, if that helps.

    Rough math says they are pulling about 7 amps, so probably yes probably pulling too much for that switch. However, someone else that is better with electrics will chime in as well.

    Installed a Putco Blade tailgate light bar. I used a wiring harness from Opt 7 so there is no hacking into the original harness.
