Right?? That was my first thought. That's why I took it to get the shock serviced/replaced but they said they're unable due to springs not being oem. Typical. On a blown shock does it only do it sometimes? Other times it works fine?
Dealer is saying issue caused by aftermarket suspension (coils) and therefore cannot service it. This means there is in fact an issue and they recommend taking to a shop that's offroad worthy. Has anybody had any similiar issues? It started last weekend when I loaded about 8 5-gallon paint...
Exactly. If a salvage title vehicle loses it's value by about 40-60%, then the price should be at that, maybe a couple grand more for mark up. Putting it around 50K-60Kish on the high end. That's doable for what it is and the damage it has, but pricing it at over 100K is a no go for me. I can...
Yeah I believe the 20's are only available specifically in the "gloss black" color.
The dude's on here with more experience probably can get into the nitty gritty of it, but from what I've read on here it all boils down to the wheel being able to be tucked/stuffed inside the fenders when...
I called the dealer and asked about warranty on the R, there is none. I also plugged in the vin on KBB and it gave back "info unavailable". A while back I also had a rebuilt title car and even it popped up on KBB. Meaning the dealer is hiding the true truck's value with KBB's help? Is that even...
I'll save you some time on looking. I've been looking high and low for lightest 20's and have found that Methods 316 win at about 34 lbs, which is a tad lighter than stock beadlock 17's which weigh 36.6 if I remember correctly.
Alright, I was about to post a new thread regarding my previous roast session by established members by me posting my 38x13.50r20's set up and that I had finally realized something super important, but I'll just piggy back on your thread here.
What matters here a ton is force needed to turn...
Exactly what I said. Almost pulled the trigger on these based on their website, which I relayed that to them too. Must be pretty cool people because they acknowledged their mistake and said the website error was being fixed right away.♀️
Okay, after many calls to Vorsteiner they finally got me an actual number on the 20x9. Each wheel is 36.6 lbs according to their scale. Just info for anybody looking.
I appreciate that. Reminds me of the orange Raptor R floating around the internet out of Akins Ford. Def not my style, but whoever bought that dropped 200k+ so I'm not hating on them. For that much money to blow like that? F you kind of money buys my opinions being kept to myself lol.
Because it doesn't have 17's? Go ahead and enlighten me on the difference between 38's/20's vs. 35's/17's. 17's are lighter so it runs faster? Can't crawl as well because not as much sidewall? Same exact 9 inches of sidewall per side as 35's/17's set up so what is it about 20's that gets you...
