I’ve looked all over and this is the only thread that has the EXACT same noise in my 2020. Any fix or ideas? Sorry for the thread revival.

Sorry if the video is crappy, but i was able to capture the noise that i have been experiencing. It's a "drumming" like sound.

Sounds like it’s outside the cab while I’m in the driver seat. Seams like the truck has to be driven a little and then once I stop (at a drive through) I hear it off an on. Sometimes quiet, sometimes a little louder. I’m completely stumped. A few noises (5-10) then a few seconds of silence. Then...

Tried to capture a video. Let the truck warm up and put it in drive with zero noises. The times I’ve noticed the noise was after driving around town after 10-15 minutes. Unfortunately I’m at work and can’t take it for a drive.

In the month I’ve owned the truck I’ve had one harder than normal shift from 4-3. Other than that, it’s shifted just fine.

This might be a dumb question, but if it was the torque converter would I hear or feel it messing up driving around?

The torque converter was the first thing that popped into my head.

Tried really listening yesterday. I’d say middle of the vehicle, possibly back if the engine bay/near transmission. This is just my best guess.

Yes sir. At idle or barely giving it gas. Normal road speeds I hear nothing. I heard it the loudest since I’ve owned the truck yesterday sitting in a drive through.

Completely stock. I’m sorry, I should have added that. 33k miles on it.

2020 Raptor. Consistent “Thud” sounds coming from truck. Only when truck is stopped but still in drive or reverse. Also makes the noise when truck is barely moving forward or backwards (below 3mph). Goes away in Park or Neutral. I tried searching the forums and even Facebook and couldn’t find...

I haven’t tried it in 4WD and it’s most prevalent at speeds under 10mph on regular pavement.

Checking the fender liners once again I found this on the passenger side: I don’t know if this is related or if im just lucky enough to have discovered yet another issue with the truck

Ive checked in the wheel wells and there is no evidence of scrubbing anywhere. Why would the factory 35s scrub and only with the wheel at like 30% lock?

Checked. All secure. I found a few other threads on this exact topic but no real answers. So I appreciate any and all insight

Hey guys, I’ve noticed that when I have the wheel turned and hit small bumps and/or flex the suspension a little, I get a noise that sounds like the tire rubbing metal. Got underneath the truck and found no signs of rubbing. I’ve attached a video in hopes someone can help me diagnose this.

I will have to have the Ford dealership look. It did not say that on the carfax when I bought it.

I had 4 performance subarus in my lifetime and was always told the rings would take a crap on me. They never did. Maybe that luck will carry over to this platform.
