Anyone running the 35x11.5 AT3s? I like that they are a 50 psi load c but I'm wondering if they look small due to the narrower width. Pics and opinions appreciated!
So is a different gear oil used in the rear end for just the 2014s? My supplement manual says 75w-85 and others on here saying that theirs has 75w-140?
So there is a brand new set of take offs of the 37s and gen 3 wheels near me and they look really tempting with a tax return check. So a few questions since I'm currently bone stock. I'm assuming mid perch at the least, and does anyone have a pic of these wheels on their gen 1 before I pull the...
Just be extra careful and you will be fine. I got into a rhythm, which got me into a hurry and I wasn't paying attention. It's not that bad just the lower plugs on the front two cylinders. I got those from working above instead of through the fender liner.
Just don't force anything and take...
Well I live in an area that's fairly conducive to better mpg. Decently rural, 45-55mph hwys, no crazy elevation. That and I drive pretty conservatively. I was averaging mid 15s when I first got the truck but I think winter gas took it down just a hair. Either that or I stopped caring as much lol
mine were still oem at 90k, everything was running fine on it. no misfires or anything like that (which made my problem even more irritating, that nothing was wrong in the first place) Ill see if new plugs and 2 new idler pulleys make a difference in mpg. I usually average around 14.8-15.
Well it looks like it all worked out, got a thread chaser from the parts store and it straightened it out. Plug torqued down all the way and is running fine.
Yeah thankfully, of the lower plugs it's the one that's in plain sight behind the fender liner. But I'm bout sick to my stomach thinking I've just cost myself God know how much to save the 850$ I was quoted in labor at the local shop.
Well I have a bigger problem now. Was just about done, pulled the 3rd bottom plug from the drivers side and the threads were real gummed up and nasty looking. Started putting the new one in got about 2 rotations of finger tight before it stopped, figured the threads were a little clogged and put...
I would assume so 90k on the truck. Motorcraft plug. The ceramic and conductor look fine it's just on the threads and the other plug for that cylinder looks as good as a plug can for 90k.
What's yall thoughts on this plug? Front cylinder on passenger side, lower plug. Not sure if it's oil or maybe unburnt fuel? 90k all the other plugs so far have looked good.
May have just figured it out. I didn't think about it being tied in to the GPS time zones. They is a button that says "reset to GPS time zone" and when I hit it, the time corrected itself and said Eastern time underneath it which it has never said before. I guess p/o turned off GPS time zone...
2014 with the sync 2 (or whatever factory is), anyone else's clock end up way off after a few weeks. I'm having to adjust the clock 5-10 minutes every 2 weeks. Sometimes it's ahead sometimes it's behind.
I am intending to upgrade to a sync 3 setup to use AA/Carplay. I am assuming that the Android Auto map function still works on a non nav unit, and if it does would there be any benefit to running a nav unit if a non nav has a better gps system?
