I'm not arguing that I need to go 140+ in my R, that's not the point I'm making. I understand how large sidewall tires work, and why they are not rated for higher speeds. I wouldn't expect the R's tires to perform like my track car. The point I'm making is that your sidewall should not deform...
That's not normal. Sounds like you got a defective tire. I've had 37's on vehicles for over a decade, including solid axles and never had this problem.
Nope, this is a totally new topic. There is not another thread with almost the exact same title which has 63 pages discussing this very thing which can be easily found using the search tool.
Thank you for bringing this to everyone's attention.
Best recommendation I have is to start two new threads, one about which is the best oil to use, and two of you can run 37s on your 35 raptor. No better way to meet everyone here than get involved.
