I doubt many enthusiast are going to buy a gen 2 now that 3 has been out so long and is a better vehicle. Just keep it listed on carguru and cars.com for what you want and be patient.
I am thinking the same, but my Braptor rear bumper doesn’t have the same open spots that the truck does. The lights just kinda hang there, not very protected. Guess I’ll have to cut some holes in the bumper.
I installed the DB S1 reverse light kit from SPV. Running the wires through the frame is a pain in the ass. Took me way too long. Otherwise it’s awesome. Wired to my AUX4. Very bright!
Id still be game for a dark horse powered raptor. The 10 speed should negate the need for more torque. But now that we have RHO, the 3.5 is probably here to stay.
Saw one of these in the flesh today. On a highway in the middle of MO. It’s tall….guy was sitting quite a bit higher than me….in my gen3 on 37’s. Front fenders seem too wide compared to rear….IMO. Two spares in the back looked cool. Neat story, I know. Probably $250k if you can find one.
Never say never on any of these directions. Ford is being led by environmental ideologues who are abused by the EPA. They don’t think rationally or with a market mindset.
I win? Finally!
All kidding aside…..it’s a quick process. There are no adjustable parameters or anything the end user has to do. Just follow the directions for update and upload.
You must have the slowest ever. The tuner update takes about 3 mins. The upload the truck takes another 3 or 4. The downloads are less than a min each.
Interesting. I’ve seen this used for seats in vans, but now I’m wondering how it can make my raptor better. What are you guys using it for other than movable cargo tie down points?
I purchased This and moved the camera into the bed. It’s mounted above the window and gives me a perfect view of what’s in the back. Perfect. I have a thread on it. I did drill a small hole in the topper to route the cable….but it’s within the gap so you can’t see it.
I wouldn’t let a dealer touch my truck for this procedure. You set up a ford performance account, download the app, and then plug the tuner into your laptop. It will update. You then plug tuner into your truck and follow prompts to save your stock tune. Once complete you go back to your...
This. I doubt there are any (readily available to any customer) at MSRP. I frequent a swath of ford dealers and they don’t let em go near MSRP. Maybe if I purchase 8 fleet vehicles at the same time, maybe.
I have the procal tune on my Braptor too and it’s not as linear feeling as the F150 tune. Seems to hold gears too high too long….IMO. The raptor just clicks em off and keeps pulling. The Braptor curtains pulls hard however.
