Mine only works in the morning. When I leave work later in the day it will not connect even if I “forget this device” and try reconnecting. Started a few weeks ago.
Installed the BakFlip Revolver X4S and RokBlokz this afternoon.
The X4S was very simple, just a little tweaking of the passenger side rail at the tailgate. The tailgate kept rubbing the rail gasket to the point of pulling off so I just trimmed it (gasket) back.
As for the RokBlokz… well I...
I have a ‘22 with Torsen. Now that I think about it, of course it would only engage in 4h and 4l since the torsen is pretty much a limited slip so it would need the front to be engaged and turning. Duh. My bad.
Anyways, it was the stalling that I found was odd, not the lack of traction.
Stalled going up a steep gravel incline in 2wd. Rear tires broke loose and dug in. I was trying to see if the Torsen axle would engage in 2wd, it did not. I just restarted the truck put it in 4H and crawled up. 200km and 1 day of ownership.
Not worried and probably not an issue, but I figured...
Day 2:
Went for a drive today to make sure I didn’t damage anything yesterday and low and behold I was passed by what I thought it was a Gen 2. I quickly caught up and seen a big “R” on the side and thought, maybe it’s a Gen3 Raptor R ??? (he had 2 bikes on a rack with the tailgate down). We...
First full day with the Rap.
Took an hour drive out to the cabin on the worst washboard roads I’ve seen in years.
Amazing ride.
Then took it down a log skidder trail. Knocked the skid plates a few times, got some mud on the tires and developed a small squeak in the right rear side.
Best… day… ever!
Thanks for the reassurance.
Sorry, I just googled the shocks, I can’t find the exact ones but fox live valve 3.0 are $3500-$5200USD a pair, I’m guessing they’ll be the more expensive ones of course. So say worst case, $5200usd is $6900cad + tax in Ontario is $7800cad, with shipping that’s gotta...
86 kilometers.
It’s the Oxford white one in the middle. They have 3 2022’s and 7 2023’s still. I used the fact that it’s pretty much 2 years old to get below MSRP. I want the torsen axle which is why I want the 2022.
there was no unusual noise or behavior from it and doesn’t look like any new oil was coming out after the drive. The dealer told me a new shock is $4k (I’m in Canada) so I’m a little worried
Before I sign the papers on this new 2022 Raptor, (I guess I should say unused rather than new) what are your thoughts on the seepage coming from the rear driver side shock? Should I be worried? You know they’re going to clean it off and tell me “it’s all good”
TIA
