I don't really see it. My brother has them on his Titan - 33's on 20" wheels and they look fairly tough. I also had the AT3W's on my RAM on 22s (which I had before my Raptor). I guess 35's on 17" wheels could be a different story. I will have to look up photos of them.
Self-reflection is key, haha. There is definitely a difference between lateral grip and acceleration. The Ridge Grapplers had neither. I would slide around wet corners with barely any gas. It took a lot more gas to make the AT3W's slide, basically it only happened on purpose for me. Ridge...
I live in rainy PNW and I immediately took the Ridge Grapplers off my truck after putting them on. The K02 are light years better on the wet road and even those aren't as good as the Falken AT3Ws.
Waving on a motorcycle is still 100% a thing no matter what you ride. I have never not got a wave on the bike from another rider. As for other Raptors and waving... I will wave back if someone waves to me, but I have yet to see it happen and there are a lot of Raptors in the PNW - probably so...
It appears the fat hog in this equation is the Pro Power. I have moonroof and power tailgate as well as Pro Power and my payload is down to 1200-something (can't look right this minute).
Nice! I think I still have the 80lb Siemens injectors from my silver L lying around. I actually had to dial back the fuel a little and it still made 650hp, 680lb-ft if I recall. I bought it with a bad head gasket and changing those out on these SOHC (and DOHC) motors is not something I would...
Mine is the same way on a brand new '23. I'm sure my poor truck sat around waiting for chips to come in, but still it's just surface rust - that's what cast iron does. I'm going to clean mine up and spray it once it warms up some more. Not worried about it in the slightest.
That's the part # I see on their website fast forwarding to March 2023 on this thread. I'm a new owner that will occasionally two with my Raptor (5500 lb dry TT) and this thread answered a lot of questions! Thanks all!
Thanks man, appreciate all your help. I did do a search for bump stops on this forum but didn't come up with a lot outside of the SVC's, haha. But I like the idea of these ones, though I would think they would restrict the 15" of rear travel these have...
Make sense. I went and looked at the bump stops and they definitely didn't look like they would be effective in stopping a good rebound. However, that bump stop you linked seems excessive if you're not a baja champion. Is there another thread on some alternatives?
I have quality recovery gear...
Thanks man! I love the color too.
I've seen some fast HD's that will scoot on the LightningRodder forums for sure! :)
My L is all bolt-ons and only 67K original miles. It's 6# lower with all accompanying mods and is in the 400/500 whp/wtq club. And I'm sure you can tell I lowered quite a bit...
Welcome from a fellow first-time Raptor owner and newbie. :)
My Lightning has Line-X coating in the bed and it is excellent. On a more sour note, my Raptor has some overspray from the factory on the B-pillar that will require them to repaint the section. I would rather have had it done by...
Hey all. I am typically a lowered vehicle kind of guy, but I have always been a huge Raptor fan, so I bit the bullet and finally got a brand new one in Azure Gray Metallic. I cannot even believe how well this thing drives and accelerates for such a behemoth that is tuned for off-roading. Huge...
