Bumping the thread again to call out that I’ve finished up the install/custom tuning session with Goosetuned - Winfield.
I’m not going to be add anything others haven’t said but it’s worth repeating for anyone on the fence.
I waited for a year to make sure my used truck didn’t have any...
Quick bump. I’m mid session with getting the custom tune setup and Winfield has been amazing.
I’ve been pretty cautious and asked way too many questions. He’s been overly responsive/supportive of them all.
As for the performance upgrade… night and day difference for me. Truck shifts and...
Quick checkin
Ordered M-12405-35T plugs and set the gap to between .026 -.028. Didn’t get them exact and had one that was at .024 and opened it upto the suggested range. The OCD in me is saying I should make them all the same and replace the one that was .024. What do y’all think regarding...
Ok had my 2020 for a year now and can’t resist any longer. (48k miles) Are the recommended plugs before adding a tune M-12405-35T? If yes can you also confirm the gap?
Wife bought a new ride so this one is staying for a few years. Time to upgrade. Also the transmission shifting is horrible
Just updated my 2020 to sync 3.4 23188. Installed fine but the online instructions did seem to not match what happened. There was a shutoff/key cycle required to “continue with part 2”
after that it downloaded some more and stated installation complete. I did have to reconnect Bluetooth. took...
This is not good reading material. Had my gen2 for a little under 6 months and still get annoyed by the transmission. Truck has good power in sport mode but shifts like a confused squirrel.
And yes, I’ll pile on with the support/response time. Ive asked numerous questions and have had...
Referring to the upper left area of camera that has a vehicle emblem and varios “zones”. (Pic attached)
Regardless, it does seem like there are not front sensors which is good in that the truck is not broke. I guess I shouldn’t be that surprised based on a few other cost savings efforts on...
Ironically that would make me very happy. So the camera screen showing different contact points (similar to the rear) are just for show? If that’s true it’s stupid but better than being broke.
Do gen3 have them?
So I’ve searched for this and i can’t seem to find an anewer.
New to me truck and while backing up there is a color change in the camera and audible beep when getting close.
Driving forward there is no color change or audible beep.
While driving it does change colors in the dash to show when...
For those looking for one harbor freight has them on sale and there’s also a coupon. Picked mine up before they showed a better price so not sure if the sale price and coupon stack. (Likely will not but I’d ask)
For those with the jack can you confirm there is/is not a second cross hole in the...
I’m jealous. I’m still on the fence (mainly trying to prioritize expenses) but as I drive the truck more the only real annoyance is the unpredictable shifts.
I want improved performance but I’m giving it a few weeks to decide if I need the improved tcm
Makes sense. I do wonder how consistent the local gas is and living in the Atlanta area can vary the environmental factor a decent amount based on time of year.
I’m definitely aligned that my stock tune is not adjusted for my local conditions just makes me a little anxious not knowing how...
So I realize this may be a ridiculous question but I’ll ask it anyway. Just bought my new to me gen2 and considering a loading up a tune.
Pushing the truck/engine too hard will reduce its life expectancy. The question is what is too hard? No doubt the goosetune shows higher gains but would a...
Bumping this up to know if there’s any update on a forum life membership. Only a week into my gen2 ownership but I’m already certain it won’t be my last.
Does this look normal? Looks like the floor padding should be finished off differently. Am i missing a panel, was this modified?
UPDATE: looked at some newer f150/broncos/etc at the dealership and all looked similar. I guess saving 3-4” of floor carpet on every vehicle adds up as a cost savings...
So looking over a new or me gen2 and this area looks unfinished. (Specifically the top edge of the floor padding) Can someone verify this is how it is supposed to look?
Update: I think this is normal. Was at the dealer and no gen2 raptors but every newer ford truck/bronco looked similar. Still...
I’ve driven a few and finally bought this one site unseen. Taking it to a ford dealer for a service and once over.
Overalll it appears to be in great shape. I was originally worried the mirrors were messed cause they were wobbly but cycling the auto close open fixed that.
Biggest complaint...
