No custom cal but that doesn't mean changes can't be made. We're making 900+whp with a 50 state legal whipple cal on the Mustangs and the exhaust helps out a reasonable amount.
With the right hardware and defoulers, long tubes w/cats do not illuminate the CEL and combined with the better sound...
Hey all, just traded in my 2022 3.5 for a 24 Raptor R. Went ahead and got the whipple on order and I'm trying to find some quality long tube headers to install in the mean time and I'm coming up empty handed. Is there no aftermarket option available for the 5.2 in the F150? That seems wild to me...
will find out shortly. 38 miles to empty and this 87 octane is gone. Truck saw negative timing up until peak torque. 2 degrees of timing at 4000rpm and 4 degrees at 5800rpm. We'll see what kind of timing it will allow with proper 93 octane in the tank. Should find out next week
Just put our new 2022 on the dyno today.
422 miles on the odometer
87 octane still in the tank
19psi at peak torque and it fell to 16.5psi by 5800rpm
359whp
430wtq
5th gear pull
Oil filter housing will have a solenoid that is computer controlled to dump oil pressure when the engine doesn't need it. The gen 3 mustang's have the same thing.
~20psi at idle is normal and you'll see it jump up when the truck starts to see load.
Perfectly normal
Took delivery of my 2022 801A on Friday and put it up on the 4 post lift to do a full inspection today.
August 2022 build date.
Found:
clear tape on passenger front shock
misc yellow and black masking tape scattered about
vent hose not clipped at fuel fill neck
Everything else seemed ok but I...
