I had this done. My truck met the qualifications but wasn’t on the list. My dealer basically told me to kick rocks at first but I kept making phone calls and asking questions. My main question was why are certain ones on the list but others not? Nobody had a solid answer.
Most just said “well...
Well got mine done finally. Started he process in May, but glad to have it done. Dealership was great to work with. I haven’t turned off the heated wheel since getting it done!
Well after a lot of back and forth, and my dealership saying they would do this on May 30th, I finally dropped my truck off today for it to be done. They dropped the ball on ordering the parts and never ordered them, but after reaching out last week and them realizing they dropped the ball, they...
I'll have to try to get a pic. I ran the wiring directly from each light towards the center of the truck and up over the little brace bar, where the connections are all made and then wire tied them in that area. It's not bad al all. I have the main wiring harness coming across just above the...
I think at $80k+ you should get what you want. Pressing the button every damn time you drive isn’t ideal. Just get rid of it, nobody ever said “I hope my new vehicle turns off at every red light for no reason, then has to start again when the light turns green”.
Just to chime in, the plug and play harness from SPV is about a 10 minute job booking up. It’s so easy it’s stupid. I have it hooked up to my kit and makes it really easy.
The aux wires would have been fine if I was soldiering them to another wire, but my crimper didn’t give enough room to get the right angle to crimp the connectors. But once I got them hooked up, the rest was really easy. Plug and play. I spent more time mounting the lights to the bracket and...
Big thanks to specialty performance parts for this kit with the Black Friday rebates, along with their after sale support. Especially Sydney who helped me realize I was missing something in my order and she got that taken care of with a quickness.
install was pretty simple and straight forward...
I'll try to make my question a little more clear.
To mount them on a Ford Raptor, they mount from the top, so they are upside down. Unless you fabricate some sort of new bracket, they will be upside down. Some companies make brackets to flip other brands right side up, but not for the Baja...
With these squadrons mounted upside down for our fog light kits, will this negatively effect the SAE models that are supposed to have a sharper cut off? Also, do people flip the covers on the combo lens models? Does that not matter at all?
About to hook mine up once some hardware issues are...
Man this is what I need to hear. I'm so on the fence mainly because of the fear I'll break the grill removing it or something else. And I'm pretty good mechanically but man I really love my truck and don't want to screw anything up. Also, the wiring gives me anxiety as well, and I know its...
Just to help you feel better about his situation, one arrived with damaged fender flares. Two of them with scratches and a few small gouges. They wanted to repaint them, not simply replace. I reluctantly let them do that first, but was nervous.
they turned out perfect. I couldn’t believe...
