Two things are probably happening like others mentioned above. Your rpm’s are dropping or your engine/transmission mounts have some play in them. Putting in reverse already drops rpm’s slightly. If you are turning your wheel assuming you have big tires that puts even more load on the motor to...
I am trying to keep the look of my truck. I bought the truck used so I am trying figure out what I have and what I need.
Front has 1.5in collar and Rear looks like its on 2.5in stock block. No other mods that I can tell. Springs look stock and no top mount extension on front shocks. 35in tires...
I have the ottercast. The Spotify music comes through fuzzy. It works great for 2-4 songs then gets staticky. I unplug plug it back in. Works great for 2-4 songs. I got another one and that works slightly better but same issue. Any suggestions? Maybe it’s my Spotify? Never thought of trying...
Probably a dumb question. New to myself raptor. When I start the truck up screen is always set to “towing” screen. How do I change it to “my favorites” screen instead of manually changing it each time?
I think fordtechone is probably correct. I have seen in a previous gmc I had do this. Left me stranded a few times before the dtc indicated a crankshaft sensor. But wouldn’t even set a soft code prior to throwing the CEL.
California forces manufactures to warranty cats I think 10 year 150k… that may not help you though.
I’d suggest either going catless option like others had mention. Could even go high flowing cats.
Or you could find an oem exhaust system some took off their car for cheaper and pay a shop to...
I don't hear of too many replacing caliper bracket bolts.. They are pretty thick. I would inspect for rust or cross threaded but I would re use them. If you want to loctite do it and torque to spec you will be fine.
Why not attach it to one of the upsetter switches? I was asking this question the other day if anyone had before but didn’t get an answer. I think you are on to something with pump primer
I am not totally sure how they do it. Many of the write ups above are probably accurate. I do know just in the last few months I’ve seen a few raptors stolen and multiple f150 same years being stolen. They had news articles in SA about it because it was so bad. They all go to Mexico if they...
I’d probably say you have two issues. Camshaft issue is probably causing misfire. Turbo issue is probably separate. Check oil level. If you want you can just throw a Cam sensor in there to see if it fixes it. The rat droppings are concerning. I’d check wiring best you can on that sensor. If that...
I have been hearing more about Raptors/f150 getting stolen. Has anyone ever wired something like their fuel pump, ignition, starter or anything like to their upfitter switches? I have seen other makes and model wire things like this to other buttons on their car to prevent theft. This could be...
Knock sensor is more than likely the knock sensor. Can be a computer issue or wiring but most likely the sensor. Not too familiar with the grill shutter but you can drive on both codes. Ecu will use other sensors for data. Highly unlikely it happens during oil change
I own a lube shop. Those warranties are usually through the oil companies. I believe valveline has one. I have never used it or tried up selling it. In fine print they are very specific on when oil changes have to be done and other maintenance requirements. Too many outs for the warranty to...
