This was a pretty light acceleration with no paddles. It hasn’t happened again, but that was only a few hundred miles ago. I let ford know about this safety issue repeated … I guess it’s on them if it fails on the highway again and I lose power in oncoming traffic..
Not a whole lot… I went to a different dealer and they replaced the seat. I think ford has amazing service for the $30k cars they sell, but haven’t caught up to the level of service you expect when you spend nearly $100k.
It didn’t throw a code, so ford said it didn’t happen… I’m having all sorts of other electronic issues after they replaced the fuse box and wiring harness. Currently in the lemon buy back process.
Update on this, Mossy Ford in San Diego claimed a "Large Dog" sat on the seat and made it sit 3 inches lower than the other side (denied the warranty repair). Chula Vista Ford said that was not up to spec and immediately ordered a replacement.
I have another post about the computer and all the lights (reverse, brake, hazards) flashing with the screen and drive modes inoperable and flashing. That was two months of shop time, a new fuse box, a few cooked sensors and all new wiring harness at 2k miles.
2022, 4,700 miles, zero mods, no fluid or CEL... Everything looks normal other than it bouncing off the rev limiter and slowing down in the middle of traffic.
I was accelerating on to a 3 lane road today, moderate acceleration but not to the floor. The transmission missed a gear and redlined the engine, leaving me not moving and with no power for a few seconds in the middle of traffic. Has this happened to anyone before? I've had nothing but problems...
I tried the fuse trick and they were loose, but didn’t solve it. They ended up changing the whole fuse box and I think a few wire harnesses. So far it’s worked (about 300 miles).
So far they replaced the VCM (I think a suspension module), it took a month and worked for 5 miles before it was doing the same thing. Next they replaced the full fuse panel under the hood (had it for three weeks) went to pick it up and they dealer scratched the hood and fender. So I'm not sure...
Has anyone else experienced an issue where the Dash lights up with Trailer Fault, Drive mode Fault, Headlight Fault and the reverse lights flashing with constant chime? The truck has 3,000 miles and is 5 months old, has been at the dealer for three weeks the first time (fix lasted for 2 days...
Follow up, I do not have a large dog.. I believe the rear seat was sat in once by an average sized human. For the headrest speaker, they said it was never plugged in from the factory.
My 2022 (3k miles) when haywire (dash alarms, outside lights flashing, drive modes messed up), so I took it in for service and had them look at the seat. Their response was a large dog must have sat on it and caused the seat to shift out of alignment. They have not agreed to fix it yet, but I’ll...
No update, but I haven't taken mine to the dealer. I'll try to find time in the next few weeks to see what they say. My dealer is friendly but didn't fix any of the issues the last time it went in (headrest speaker is unplugged or not working, sunroof rattle, passenger window needs to be reset)...
It was more of a thought where, if it was easy to add, why not? I’ve had auto start stop in other vehicles and it never bothered me. Sitting in bumper to bumper traffic is part of my life, if I could save a few gallons for a button install.. worth it. But it sounds more in depth.
