So finished my appointment today at the dealer and my light is fixed.
So apparently the Drivers side Raptor Headlight Assemblies that are flickering are believed to possibly have a faulty Light Module installed that is attached and is part of the Headlight Assembly as a complete replacement...
So, I have another appointment on Monday to replace the Headlight Module on the recently replaced Drivers Side Headlight Assembly from last week. I was told that the Ford Engineers which the Dealer contacted suggested this as the next step. Apparently, Ford is trying to rule out that the factory...
Once it flickers it stops until they are turned off then on again. Does not do it with the DRL's...Not a correct fix, should work as the rest of the vehicles without the issue...Waiting for an answer back through the dealer with ford.
So after a $1600.00 Light Assembly replacement courtesy of Ford, the flickering still remains. So not the Battery, not the Light Assembly, no error codes on the module, got to be something in the Software Programming? dunno.... Neither does the dealership. Awaiting further guidance.
So, it's not a low battery. After a full charge, it seemed to have stopped, but again started this morning. I now noticed that it would do it when its running also...One thing though, after it initially flickers, it stops and will not start again until the light is recycled on. It may very well...
Please let us know if replacement fixes the issue. As I stated, it hasn't done this since I charged my battery fully. Could just be coincidental, so if it is a Headlight Assembly, I would also pursue that. Thanks!
Since I charged my battery the other day, I have not been able to get it to flicker, running or not. Doesn't mean there isn't an issue, but just an observation. I know that my truck went into the deep sleep mode immediately when I came home from the dealer, about 20 miles. It was sitting at the...
Mine only does it when the parking lights are turned on or a door is open with the entry lights on which also lights the same parking light; and its only momentarily and stops. It does not do it when the DRL is illuminated, (Same Light, Just Brighter). Nor does it seem to do it while running. It...
I don't think collateral damage is on purpose, I just think that accidents happen when you are not careful. If something has to be repaired because of damage, I will stare at it until I sell it lol... Just trying to keep from having a significant emotional event, lol. I traded my 2017 Gen 2...
No Mods at all...right off the delivery truck....I don't think that the headlight will fix it, but who knows, could have been a bad batch at the factory. I'm just skeptical whether i want some collateral damage from the dealer from disassembling the front end, scratches, chips, broken clips...
LOL, I just took delivery on 3 Aug of my 22...Doing the same exact thing. When it turns on after a little time it flickers, then it doesn't do it again until you recycle the lights.....I don't dare take it to the dealer because to remove that assembly, the whole front has to be removed, Lower...
So I will say this, speculation is just that...Objectively, which means supported by real data, neither NADA nor KBB give an "add" for the 37 package for dealer trade value or cash offer. Most dealers are charging more of an ADM for the 37 package because of lower allocations. They prey on...
