You are not alone, I’ve read a ton of reports on this matter. Mine are also weak. Luckily having ventilated seats help a bit. For a high end truck you would just expect more. I love the looks of the gen 3 and the tech in it but gosh dang it it has some quirks. Like the clear coat coming off the...
I Barely have 2000 miles on my optioned out white 35 2022… I guess I was having raptor dreams and made a impulse purchase. This is a very cool truck and pretty fun to cruise around in. I guess I am missing my diesel (f350) that I sold. I’ve never really been in this position before but I guess I...
Glad I found this thread, I have a 22 and it’s annoying. For how much we shell out for these trucks this should not happen. I will be calling my dealer tomorrow.
I hope here on out it’s a good truck for you. Crazy at 130 miles… more and more your hearing about defects or early failures on these trucks seems a bit sketchy. I haven’t been scared enough to buy a TRX yet though hah. Your truck looks awesome by the way did you have those fender flares...
Yeah I will second that! It’s a great addition! That step comes in clutch all the time. Some people have a hard time accepting innovation and forward progression as we evolve as humans… Have no clue why that would be g a y? Please, educate us…
Maybe some would think the raptor is overpriced, but the TRX is really overpriced… I’ve seen the highest end trim level rams get scratches in the paint from just looking at it wrong. Classic chrysler…
Glad to see I’m not the only one… I just got rid of my f350 limited for this dream raptor and it doesn’t even compare to the superduty in the hvac dept.
Cool new TRX congrats and sorry to hear about your previous Raptor. From an engineering stand point Ford still reigns in my opinion. They have the support and money. I know this as I am engineer by trade and actually know people personally at ford performance division. Remember what the raptor...
I will wave at fellow raptor owners. I just got a wave back from a gen 1 owner last night. I can see what some of you are saying though, the only off-road some of these raptors will see will be a construction zone leaving the mall or from a Starbucks. I come from a Subaru community and I am a...
Yeah it’s cool their doing this but let’s think about it. it’s going to be a unicorn and limited run. Allocations will be specifically selected. The best chances will be finding them on bring a trailer or on resale with a 50% mark up. It’s hard enough finding a new F150XLT how is it going to be...
Any pictures to support these cases? I would like to add an inch(ish) to front and rear. I see RPG already makes a kit for the front and rear and SVC just has the front but is working on one for the rear coil.
I have 50 miles on my new dream raptor and also just heard a slight clunk noise in the rear… just after I was saying “hats off to the ford performance engineering department” I’ve only heard it once so far and it was when I was braking and coming to a stop. It’s definitely at the rear! Dang…...
It probably depends on the dealer honestly. And now a days with how things are I would think they would do whatever it takes to go against your “warranty..” My past 3 trucks that I have bought brand new with warranty’s I have added a leveling system to them and each one of those dealers said it...
800$?? Not including parts? Seems pretty expensive. If they were installing a full suspension lift then that would make sense if you figure their flat rate fee and alignment but I’ve never seen a shop charge that much for throwing a component in.
Here it is! I will get better pictures up as soon as weather clears up. It’s been a blast to drive. It’s definitely not like your average half ton. You feel a little more special driving it around. Or maybe that’s just me.
This my first post! Glad to be here I am a first time raptor owner just picked up a brand new 2022. It’s been a dream truck I’ve always wanted so I finally am behind the wheel of one! Sure fun to drive and getting to learn all the cool tech it has going on. Thanks
