My dealer told me the same thing, anything that wasn’t originally outlined in the contract/extended warranty provisions would technically be an aftermarket add-on, and nullify the warranty
Has anyone with an extended warranty (bought through Ford) been told the implications of this tune? I can’t get a straight answer on whether or not this warranty piggybacks off of that or stands on its own.

Mine did the same but while I was driving. It also fixed itself during the drive (to the dealership which I was luckily close to). It was a misfire, so they swapped the ignition coil on the cylinder in question to see if that was the culprit (likely) or something else. Hasn't done anything...
