This is my point. How is Ram of all companies getting components for these "complex" systems whereas ford can't? They schedule at the same fabs, similar systems and OEMs, so it's ridiculous Ford isn't keeping up with RAM. I've seen multiple TRX's where I live, a good friend just bought one...

Ford and all these manufacturers SEVERELY ****** UP releasing production capacity at silicon fabs (TMSC, Samsung, et al) during the beginning of COVID. Most of these companies already run on some sort of JIT scheduling, and not having a few quarters of stockpiled boards/chips, they ****** up...

This. I don’t give a **** about dealerships if they are doing ADM. I’ll gladly wait for the dealer I’m currently going through to hopefully get an additional allocation in a couple of months and buy from them, spec’d how I want it.

I mean, hopefully it does get better. I also think as far as sales go, hopefully this will drive more people to "good" dealerships that don't gouge (of which I've only seen one in this area). I can't imagine ford engineers are sitting on their asses not redesigning those systems to use...

if you have a good credit score don't even bother with ford. Every credit union around me does 3% or less for financing, and Navy Fed does like 2%. Ford will do 5% plus if they EVEN finance a raptor for you. Most dealerships that I have seen won't finance raptors or give an astronomical rate...

I've been in tech for a long time, both on the GTM side, ordering, design, etc. I can't really understand Ford's current supply issue. Last year, sure. But every other auto manufacturer seems to have it figured out now, and is slowly building up and coming back on line... why the hell aren't...

Ford's site is built by a company called VML&Y iirc, based out of KC. Huge marketing firm. Buddy of mine worked on the mobile site and the Ford Connect app. I give him endless **** about how awful both of them are.

Why is ford having issues compared to other manufacturers? The local Ford dealerships dont have ****, whereas I know the dodge dealership here delivers TRX's to customers here at like, 1-2 per month. I know 3 people that have walked on lot and bought TRX's. The local chevy dealership is doing...

Well this gives me some hope. I ordered a 801a 2022 12/15 from a small/medium sized dealership a buddy works at a few hours away from where I live. They forwarded me the email with it was received and will be scheduled. Hopefully it gets built and I have it around summertime which would be great.

I thought COVP orders were different.
