Did this and it worked like a charm, no more choo choo train sound.

    GEN 2 Ebov tick....tick,tick

Came to this thread after a few searches, had the same issue as everyone else. This thread on this other forum has a fix, it utilizes a copper T line and the stock evap hose rather than the supplied hoses. The person posting the fix said they had no issues after this. I'm going to try this...

    EVAP Check Engine

Any ideas on where this calibration would be in the PCM? I installed the tube that you mention earlier along in this thread and over time the issue came back. The instructions say to face the slanted opening portion towards the turbo, but wouldn't it make sense to face it away from the turbo so...

    EVAP Check Engine

I don't have turbo adapters yet, but am considering it when I install the downpipes. After communicating with a tech from AEM they reported that it's a sensor that is just out of range, but the people that had this problem bought the AFE version that comes with two different hoses have not had...

    EVAP Check Engine

Went through all of what you are going through now, I documented all of the steps I took in the earlier posts on this thread. The final answer I got from AMS is that it's the sensor sensing pressure outside of the maximum set parameter. They recommended having your dyno tuner turning off the...

    EVAP Check Engine

Get a dyno tune and have your tuner turn off the MIL. If you have driveability issues then that will probably not go away without changing the min/max on that pressure sensor.

    EVAP Check Engine

I sent them another email since it's been over four months with no updates. Here's their response. I have put the stock inlets back on and no longer have any of the issues that I was experiencing before (bucking, loss of power randomly or while turning). These may work great on some trucks...

    EVAP Check Engine

I had driveability issues that got worse the longer I kept the driver side tube on the truck. I'm pretty sure that there are some that leak more than others out there. I could turn off the MIL with my HPTuners, but it doesn't solve the driveability issues. I would get occasional stalling and...

    EVAP Check Engine

I still haven't heard back from AMS on what coiuld be causing this. I left the driverside tube on with the suspected leaks and I started to get P0455 after resetting it several times. I took off the driverside tube a month abo and put the stock on back on and left the AMS passenger side tube on...

Any updates from anyone? I emailed AMS again and the response was that their technicians are still looking into the issue.

    EVAP Check Engine

I haven't heard back from AMS's customer service since 4/29, but that was after asking them if there were any updates since the last time I received an email from them which was 4/14. As of right now I still have the inlets on the truck and the CEL still on showing the same DTC P04F0.

    EVAP Check Engine

I gathered up all the photos and details and sent them to AMS's customer service email, I even linked this thread in case they wanted to know about other customers having the same issue. They asked a few questions like what kind of tune I had and if I had an aftermarket cold air. I let them know...

MIL came back in and lo and behold, the silicone did not hold. I’m torn between JB welding it or just sending it back. Any ideas on what I can do here?

    EVAP Check Engine

Got around to pulling off the driver side ,three coats of flex seal didn’t hold worth a damn. I pulled the connector as far as I could from the grommet, lined it with silicone and smashed it back down. I’m running a 93 tune on this truck, you guys that aren’t having issues are you tuned? If so...

    EVAP Check Engine

I had the longest amount of time with no MIL after installing the small white AFE tube, but after it went off again that's when I noticed the grommet pulling away where it's installed. I still think there's air seeping in under heavy load, it throws the code right after a few WOT runs now, after...

Still using the stock intake box and tube that connects the the AMS turbo inlets.

    EVAP Check Engine

The flex seal didn’t hold, the grommet was pulled up and you could see where it separated. I’m going to try caulking it with straight silicone next, thought for sure the flex seal would hold.

Thank you! If anyone knows if they have a person that posts here send them the link to this thread. I'm not looking for any compensation, just want to get this figured out. If I can't within the next month or so I may just send them back for a refund.

    EVAP Check Engine

Ok, so far I have done the following: I smoke checked the EVAP lines to make sure there were no leaks with the engine off initially, there were none. 1st, I Installed a new Purge Valve 2nd, I Installed that cut pipe/vent tube from AFE, this worked for about almost a month and then it would come...

    EVAP Check Engine

I think the ports on the driverside inlet are leaking and causing this error to the pressure sensor. On the stock inlets they completely sealed and on the AMS inlets they are just plugged in grommets. I think I might take off the driverside inlet and seal those gromets with silicone to see if...

    EVAP Check Engine

I installed it in the one that the AFE site recommends. I went a month with no MIL and it came back. Now I'm stumped and dont know why this keeps happening. There's hardly anything out there that shows how to fix this. I'm thinking that possibly the areas on the driver side inlet where the...
