Raptor MyMode Settings new for 2022

It’s seriously annoying that Ford hasn’t figured out how to do software right. Saving settings from previous driving session should be 100% a software update from factory delivered over the air.

BD LP4 Pro installed on a-pillar

It was surprisingly tricky to install the bracket, took numerous attempts to try to maneuver it in without damaging paint. The instructions suggest thoroughly taping the area to avoid damage which I recommend.

BD LP4 Pro installed on a-pillar

Ordered the brackets from SPVSpecialtyPerformanceParts - their service is the best. Make sure you order the heavy duty brackets if you are installing the larger 4” lights. I have a set of extra SPV a-pillar brackets and 3” rigid radiance lights for sale now if anyone is interested in a deal...

BD LP4 Pro installed on a-pillar

They look great. Not too big. Had smaller ones up there (3” rigid ) and they looked too small

BD LP4 Pro installed on a-pillar

Installed my new BD LP 4 Pro’s today. They look amazing. The Amber running lights are cool and the main lights are bright AF Had to chop up the provided wiring harness to connect it all to the upfitter switches and built new Deutsch connectors for a clean install.

Removing the battery was easy and quick. No problems afterward (that I have noticed... yet?)

    Help: Problem with Upfitter Switches

Agreed! IMO a very poor design choice. The wires also do not have much extra length to work with. They easily could have added another 6" to the upfitter wires and tied them off on the passenger side body, removing the need to remove the battery and making it easier to make connections to them.

    Help: Problem with Upfitter Switches

For those of you doing this work, here's a picture of both sets of wires. The hot wires are the ones taped with the red tape. It’s a little hard to tell which is which TBH. You have to pull off both sets. It would be nice for ford to label each wire “Aux 2 - hot”…

    Help: Problem with Upfitter Switches

Hello all - MYSTERY SOLVED. Embarrassingly I figured it out by reading the manual (RTFM)... Thank you GoBlueJD as well - you are 100% right - I had it connected to the wrong set. The manual suggests removing the battery and battery tray to access the wires. Once I did this I was able to see...

    Help: Problem with Upfitter Switches

Hello all - have hooked up my new a-pillar lights to the up fitter switches (using switch 6, but have also tried switch 2), and I get no power. I have verified the lights are working connecting them directly to the battery. My fog lights turn on and off with Upfitter switch 1, But I am...

Anyone toying with the idea of 38" tires on their GEN 3?

I was the one who did it. I could have sorted the rubbing with some cutting, but the other challenge was the spare no longer fit under the wheel well requiring more cutting and etc. Also I actually thought the 37” looked better. Maybe the 38” would be better looking with a small lift but I’m...

    Will 39's fit without mod?

FWIW - I switched back to the Nitto RG 37" from the 38". The 38" was rubbing on the rear and didn't fit in the wheel well space. Rather than cutting a bunch of stuff to make it all fit, I decided the extra 1" wasn't worth it.
