Thanks! Other than the spare tire area, and the front bumpstop, sounds like all other comparisons in regards to tires (ie ride, shifting, acceleration) would be the same when comparing a 35 package with 37 tires and a 35 package and a 37 package.
Couple questions, if anyone knows:
I thought the 37 package was geared exactly like the 35, so acceleration and gear changes when comparing a 35 package with 37 inch tires would react/handle the same as a 37 package with 37 tires...is this correct??
Second, regarding a spare, has anyone put a...
Got a malibu 23MXZ with about 5500lbs plus trailer 1500lbs. I've towed almost 1000 miles since I got this truck (2022 so all last season). It does just as well as my old F-150 platinum max tow package. Acceleration is better, braking actually feels better as well. Ride is about the same...
Yes, it's the one ford released that's been mentioned on the other thread. They did it to mine and no rattle. It's only been a few weeks but driven in 75 degrees down to 30. I've been remote starting it every time so I can listen to it. So we will see. I have had a "car play disconnect"...
Figured I'd kill a few birds with one stone. Took the raptor in for an oil change and here's what else was fixed under warranty:
1.Fenders replaced-paint was peeling
2.Exhaust rattle-FINALLY got that fixed and no more rattle!
3. Bed camera-replaced and seems better (I would get a blue screen...
I've got a jeep Rubicon 2020 JL. It's got the v-6. I obviously have a Gen 3 as well. And the Jeep has come a LONG way from 20 years ago, interior way better and much less "death wobble". They are pretty good daily drivers, and as for acceleration, the 392 will take care of that problem...
So, 109k for base model. 50k for ADM funnsy. North of 170k after tax. That is 100k more than the base raptor. But I guess if you have 170k laying around, you can probably do 5th grade math and already knew that...but damn!
Just saw that as well! Ya, I thought under a 100k was a pipe dream. Some, not all, regular raptors are going for 100-120k. I think most R's will fetch 150k, at least for a few years or more.
I have this as well. 2000 miles and had it since day one. Gonna take it in this fall when I don’t need it as much. But very annoying and sounds terrible!
Thanks! It's MASSIVE! Has a nice pipe on both sides! The wakeboard wave will launch you as high as you want to go as well. My second Bu and can't say enough good things!
I don't do much highway driving with mine. But I get 13.5 or so in "normal" mode and about 12 in "sport" mode. In normal it seems to keep RPMs between 1000-1500, in sport it seems like always about 2000 or so. That's been every tank and about 1500 miles. Try towing! I get about 7!
Mine rolled from a 21 to a 22 and was price protected. It was in a letter from ford (it's posted here somewhere) but dealer honored the price and it saved me over 3k. Probably same for 22 to 23.
I had this same error after ceramic coating. Give it about one to two weeks. It takes a while for it to recalibrate but it SHOULD go away on its own. If not gone after a few weeks then you might need to take it in.
So I just installed the timben SES FR150RB -P2. Just for another data point, I measured about 1.5 inches after install from bumpstop to axle. Very straightforward install. Taking out the stock ones is one bolt each and putting the new ones in is two each (one to hold bumpstop to spacer and...
This is exactly the measurements I came up with and the exact kit they had me order. Waiting to get it, but yep, I can second that's what timbren is sending me as well. But, you will have to call them as the one on the website is not correct. Do you notice the timbrens engage when going over...
Thanks for posting this info! I'm certainly interested. Don't know how far you tow, but can you tell us how the ride is unloaded and loaded as well? I'm hoping the ride is the same unloaded.
Thanks for posting this info! Sucks it didn't work. I hope timbren figures it out. Sounds like the gap was still a little big anyway. I haven't heard of any other options yet either. I called sumo and they were working on something but nothing yet and I was never able to talk to anyone...
No, just measured. I will probably take the boat out next week and I can try to get some. Truck is getting spray in bed liner and ceramic coating this week. Just not many options to fix the sag right now. Think one guy is trying to get timbrens to fit correctly, but I haven't heard the...
So I just got my 22 this week (ordered in Aug with rollover in Oct)!! Super impressed by it all the way around. As a daily driver it is by far the best truck I have ever driven. I haven't gotten up to our land to off-road, but soon! I did take it to my boat and put it on just to see how bad...
Looks like timbren tried to pass off the gen 2 fit for the gen 3. Same gap as sumo. Glad to hear they sent you new spacers. Hope they update the kit to include the needed spacers for that extra 3 inches or so. I bet sumo will do the same fairly soon. Would really like to know if it works...
Hearing this it concerns me that Timbren might be the same. Reason I say this, the part is listed for 2017-2022 as well. FR150RB. I talked to someone at Timbren yesterday also, but could tell they were NOT in the know.
So right now, sumo doesn't have anything for the Gen 3. I spoke to a tech guy and he said they are doing testing and product design, but as of right now, nothing.
