We do have the "comfort" file available for download. This file has a softer normal mode, but retains the same calibrations in Sport and Off-Road. This is aimed to be the most comfortable for daily driving and then also still give you all the benefits when switching modes and pushing the truck a...
What I would recommend is to start off with the base file and zero the ride height with our controller. If you do want more out of it, there are a few changes we can try. We would just ask you to explain how the truck feels and we could help you set up a tuning file remotely or guide you through...
Our goal was to create a seamless integration into the factory Ford electronics, so we do not allow for the modes to be switched other than with the standard controls
One thing we do at DSC Sport is listen to our customers. We always try our best to see what people have to say about our calibrations and what they may like or dislike. One thing we heard is, maybe normal mode could be more on the comfortable side. So we did just that, on our website users can...
I believe it will be available in only the BAJA mode but I will have to check with the engineering team. Mike and I were just speaking and we couldn't remember if the coding was added to the other modes or not. But I will check on it for a definitive answer
Thanks Ktide really appreciate the feedback and review on the controller. Glad your enjoying it! Cant wait to hear more once you get a little off road time with it
Exactly as BoostCreep said above! Hard parts such as a sway bar wouldn't be redundant as they still carry the same benefits with or without our module. However if someone were to ask me about the order to do things, I would side with doing the DSC controller first and see how the ride feels...
We have not tuned specifically for the Deavers specifically. However we have had customers already with similar setups. They said the calibration felt fantastic out of the box with their setup. And then was improved even further when reseting the ride heights with our tuning software
No offense taken. We are working to get new videos out. We just don't have a local place to do off-road testing. So for any off-road videos, they have taken place at the Rally Ranch in Texas. But we are working to get back out there and do some more videos on the trucks
The controller operates on the High Speed CAN of the vehicle which is standardized at 500hz for passenger cars. And we have configured our controller to send commands at the same speed. We are able to operate faster than that but we found matching the sending and receiving speed is the best option
Now that is a perfect test. I think you are one of the first to test the towing capabilities besides us and a few prototype trucks. Especially towing off-road! We appreciate all of the reviews greatly here! Cant wait to hear back for some off roading experience in the future
This is awesome! Love that you really had the chance to have some fun with it. Let us know when you get the 3.0's on the truck and how it feels. We will help walk you through making any adjustments in the software so it will feel just as good as it does now. And hopefully even better! Thank you
Im glad you were able to get it quickly and already have it on the truck. I love hearing the immediate first impressions. I cant wait to hear more once you're able to get some miles on the setup and really put the truck through its paces
Yes and No. The valve only technically controls the compression side of things. But it has such a large impact, it also effects rebound. The changes can be seen here with the shock dyno of both the front and rear shocks. While the changes on the rebound side aren't nearly as large, it still is...
I know this is slightly bring back a thread from the dead. But just incase anyone happens to come across the same page the way I did, we are that shop in Maryland. Our tuning solution for the Gen 2 Raptor Live Valves is out now and available for purchase. As stated above, we have created tuning...
We are trying to get rid of some older inventory we've had on hand here moving into the new year. However with our controllers, we have been faced with numerous cost increases this year already and the micro chip shortage has been taking its toll on our production time. In the past few months we...
Hopefully more user experience should be surfacing for off road use soon. However in the mean time, I can tell you about our R&D we did at the Rally Ranch in Texas. We went there with the specific goal in mind to abuse the truck as much as possible off road to get the best calibration we could...
