I’m officially giving up on my quest for an R at a fair price. The R seems like an awesome truck and I would love to upgrade from my 37PP, but I just can’t allow myself to pay a ridiculous markup. I’ve reached out to most dealers in Florida and haven’t found anything less than $25k mark up and a...
Went last week with my son and it was a great experience. My only suggestion would be to stay at the Holiday Inn instead of the Comfort Inn. There wasn't anything wrong with the Comfort Inn, but the Holiday Inn is much closer to restaurants, bars and the Ford Racing building.
Was in a similar spot last year. Took the payout and bought a new truck. Market seems a little more buyer friendly so I would definitely take it and buy new.
I had it on my 2021 and brought it to dealer twice. They said they couldn’t “duplicate“ it the first time. Second time they said it was common on all raptors and there was no fix. That truck ended up getting totaled. Replaced it with a 2023 and it doesn’t do it. I miss the lead foot gray, but...
I have them and they work pretty well. The strap material is a little thinner than the straps I typically use, but they will be fine for my needs. As others have mentioned the price is a little steep.
My mileage definitely varied lol. I’ve been with USAA for 25 years and this was my first auto claim. They certainly didn’t treat me like a “member”. They made every step of the process take 2-3 days more than it should have. Payout was 10 days after they made me return rental car. In the end...
I’ve had both a 35 and a 37. I’m getting about 1.5-2 less mpg on the 37. I like the look and ride of the 37 much better, but I’ll admit it’s probably not worth what they charge for it.
Mine paid for extras after I provided receipts. Mine was for total loss not a wreck. The whole process took 5 weeks. Before dealing with insurance on this I used to think who cares if my truck gets stolen it’s insured. After this mess I’ll do whatever I can to prevent having to deal with...
I want to do it but I’m still hesitant as well. I always think I’m happy with my truck until I drive wifey’s car on the weekend and then I’m like a little more would be nice.
Big Perm I say you do it and let us know. LOL
Not knocking you… but I used to think that way until my truck was totaled by a careless driver last month. The process of settling with insurance, actually receiving payment, finding a suitable replacement and getting it modified the way I like it was not a pleasant experience. I used to always...
I ended pulling the storage unit, backing the mounting bolts down, filling in with some scrap pad/carpet and putting in the weathertech mat. In hindsight I wish I would have ordered the OEM full mat from Ford. The Weathertech has great coverage but it’s not as easy to take in and out as the ford...
Nice! I had to replace my ‘21 Raptor due to a total loss accident and tried hard to work a deal on an R. Couldn’t find any dealer to get close to what I was willing to pay. Had to settle for a 37. I do like to 37 over the 35 but I miss my Lead Foot Gray color! If I can ever find an R at my...
I agree it’s a bit annoying to have it tilt every time you use reverse. I use memory setting 3 and save with mirrors tilted down. Then you can use it when you want.
Insurance totaled out my 2021 and I just replaced it with a 2023. Not having the temperature displayed in the dial is driving me crazy. Guess I’ll be on the hunt. Wish I could have grabbed them from my old truck lol.
It folds down but it sticks up about an inch and is hard plastic. So you end up with about 70% mat and 30% raised area of hard plastic. The large flat area with the large rubber mat I had in my Gen 2 was better/easier for my dogs to ride on.
