Maybe I am misinterpreting this issue - my rear seats have the orange piping and alcantera inserts that are exclusive to the R. Is this not the original question?
If you want full assurance, do the IGLA immobilizer and if you want even more, add the T13 Compustar with the Drone. I’ve seen videos of the Revelco being defeated in less than a minute. However, it’s definitely better than nothing.
I realize there are some other oil threads, but I thought this might be interesting to some. Picked up in Aug 2023, first oil change at 4,307 miles. Results are for the factory Motorcraft 5W-50. I refilled with Amsoil Signature 5W-50 - it will be interesting to see the Amsoil test results...
I have the IGLA and Compustar T13 installed on my ‘23 R and have had zero issues with either system. I use the PIN code most of the time and yes you need to wait for the dash gauges to fully load before keying in the PIN. Then it takes about a second and you get two signal flashes with beeps...
If it’s a good shop they’ll get it on. The shop I went to told me the flares are one of the toughest to get right, but they did it. Then there was a little lifting on two of them after the first install, and they replaced it for free. It looks great. And there’s a warranty so they’ll fix it...
My overall average since picking it up is 12.8 mpg with just over 5k miles on the truck. I just made a 300 mile, 4 hour trip here in TX (90+ deg and 90% humidity) where I had about 15mph tailwinds on the way up and the same headwinds on the way back and averaged 14.4 mpg with the cruise set on...
I guess everyone’s situation might be different, but getting a replacement R via insurance and having them cover the ADM, PPF and other add-ons, plus a stereo upgrade probably isn’t going to go well. Plus, I personally don’t like the 2024s as much as my 23, and I really don’t want to have to go...
Sure no problem. I have both IGLA and Compustar installed on my 2023 Raptor R. I have seen videos of the Revelco being bypassed and I’ve read about cases where Revelco cars have been stolen. I also prefer not having the fob receptacle thingy because I don’t want to have to look at it lol. Having...
If you're interested in something other than Ravelco, Sound Evolution (on Westheimer west of BW8) carries IGLA. It's more pricey, but I went with it on my 2023 R because it's almost undefeatable (at least from what I've gathered from talking/reading from knowledgeable sources), and there are no...
Thanks for the detailed response and pictures. Everything looks great - nice work on those mods. I'll dm you if I decide to pull the trigger.
And I guess it goes without saying that it's a shame these trucks didn't come from the factory this way.
Nice work. I'm interested in hearing more about the door handle swap, interior lights (cup holder, etc), and the security pack. Any details you can share on what you did is appreciated.
I just had full Xpel ppf and tint installed by Dynamic Autoworks in Spring. They do excellent work and had me bring the truck back in after a month to check everything. There were a couple of places they weren’t happy with and ended up replacing several of the ppf pieces at no cost to me. I’d...
I'll second the praise for the SGS team. I handed them my R for a month to have the elevated system installed. I went up to visit them at their place and Sage spent about 2 hours with me explaining some of the intricate details of the build and listening to my music in the truck and adjusting...
The R starts cutting power as you approach 108 mph to avoid exceeding the speed rating of the tires, allowing the TRX to make up ground. Otherwise, the R would continue to pull away.
