Nice to see you chime in Timmy, just to clarify, the post you quoted was mainly me speaking to the drawbacks of using octane booster not ethanol.
I suspect that ethanol historically got a bad wrap and a lot of fairytales have been born because of this. Too many dudes talk about feel this, feel...
The chemical that causes this which is prevalent in most octane boosters that actually work is MMT. This is a synthetic lead substitute and has similar downsides of lead in that it leaves deposits in your combustion chamber, spark plugs, o2 sensors and cats. Does it work? Yes. Are their...
Not sure what to tell you man. The gen 3 guys I know running it all have just injectors. But not discrediting what that dude has but you asked if you "need" it to run e85 and the answer is no. My Truck ran up to e95 (One Ethanol R) on no other fuel mod than the ID1050X with still having fuel...
I can't stay out of the power so like 10 sometimes 9 of constant high rpm, anti lag etc.
If I drive like a normal civilized person best I saw before I ruined it by stepping on it was 14 or so. I actually get better highway mileage driving 80+mph than I used to.
I only have injectors. You may want to double check your information. There was a revision with the gen 3 HPFP (among other things) which is why you see guys doing just injectors.

You run out of fuel system to be able to pump the increased volume for e85. The differences is in the stoich ratio from e50 - e85. The non nerd talk is need more fuel flow to run more Ethanol. The factory components can only flow so much before you run out of flow. I'm painting with pretty broad...
Squadrons are way brighter than factory lights. Also remember, it's not all about the lumens, but how you USE the lumens is more important!
credit to @Specialtyperformanceparts for a well written article on a somewhat complex topic...
The purchase might get you in trouble, the power will definitely get you in trouble. The truck is rowdy! Spins all 4 tires on a prepped surface from the dig.
I've seen you drive in the vids and I can appreciate that you're not just chasing numbers but using the truck off road! My original build intent was OEM+. I wanted better than factory to get me around what an R can do but with additional capability in recovery equipment on board 24/7, lighting...
Man, if 200 wheel over stock is a little more power, I'd hate to see what you define as a lot on a stock turbo/ block truck. ♂
A good data point for others is your build gets you mid 12s (on 35s or?) and my build gets you into 11s on 37s and 300lbs in the bed.
Alright, I've held off long enough.
Dare I say, The Highest Power 2023 Ecoboost Raptor in the world?
This 2023 Ecoboost Raptor, is the highest power on stock turbos globally. It's been a journey and investment, from securing the last ECU in the country to Mike and his team at MPT Performance...
You beat me to a write up so I'll add supplemental pics. I did lower temp thermostat, Inlets, hot & cold piping, intercooler and downpipes at the same time. While you don't need to, if you remove the passenger side wheel well liner you get a ton of access to the passenger turbo.
I'm so bad at taking pics! I promise I'm trying to get better! I have no excuse either cause I'm out after dark a lot this time of year. For forgiveness, some non truck related shenanigans.
Definitely bright! I usually turn them off when I roll up on traffic. I thought at first that I can get away with being in the far right lane on the highway with oncoming traffic being several hundred meters away and they flash me every time. Where I live is a small town so if I'm out late...
