Another quick update on my GooseTuned experience:
My wife drove the Raptor the other day and when she got back she said “Holy cow your truck is peppy now. I like it!” She didn’t really even know I tuned it so it’s a completely honest response with no “pre-conditioning”. I’m running a Goose 91...
No problem. I don’t want to bash them, maybe they had circumstances that I don’t know about with COVID and everything.
I would take a look at Texas Shock Works. They were the other ones I considered when I did mine. Can’t remember exactly why I picked Forged over them.

Shocks seem ok. I think I got what I paid for. Ride is improved over the stock shocks that had 53k miles. The swap is fairly easy. I did buy a spring compressor to swap springs from the old shocks to the rebuilds. If I get another 50k out of the rebuilds I’ll be happy.
As far as my experience...
Trans tuning is awesome. I agree with previous poster in saying I’d give up Engine tune before trans tune if I could only have one. I’ve used the OEM+ and now I’m using Sport and both are worlds better than stock. So far I like Sport the best. Thought it would be too aggressive but it’s not...
Cool. Thanks for the link. I’ve always wondered if the Raptor T-case is the same one used in Lariat and up F-150s that have 4A capability? This article makes it sound like it is not but I’m not sure.

Completed the data logging and revision process with Win. Tune is DIALED in. Took 7 revisions to get it perfect. I had no complaints or specific concerns about any of the revisions so the entire process was Win tweaking them based on the datalogs. This thing screams when you put the hammer...
I used Forged off-road for an exchange but they have not refunded my core after 40 days from when they got my shocks and multiple attempts. Now they won’t even return emails. The shocks I got from them seem ok but I’d steer clear of them. They owe me $600.

Will do!
Quick you can’t make this stuff up story...
While heading home from my hunting grounds I needed fuel in middle of nowhere Texas Panhandle. Pulled into the only station around and guess what??? Premium was only 90 octane at this particular Conoco. I had about 1/8 tank of 91 remaining...
I got to drive with my new 91 GooseTune so here’s my initial thoughts.
Overall the truck is SUPER smooth. It’s hard to explain but it seems like a different vehicle.
Power is amazing. It accelerates effortlessly when merging into traffic or getting up to highway speeds. The truck feels like...
I recently asked Goose about it and he recommended that I flash to the stage 0 tune (stock equivalent?) prior to towing.

It’s noticeable for sure but I only drove a couple miles around the neighborhood to get to a safe place to make the full throttle data log pulls so it’s hard to say right now much different it will be. The throttle feels much crisper and the shifts are more solid. I want to put some miles on it...
Got my GooseTune Accessport today. Loaded the 91 GooseTune and the Cobb OEM+ trans tune. Drove around to get her up to temp and then made a couple of 4th gear data logging passes. About to email them for Winfield to review.
Throttle was definitely more responsive and shifting feels better but...
Recent experience.
I almost bought a new AT4 with a 6.2. Couldn’t get past the 24 gallon fuel tank. That’s crazy small for my needs.
Drove a loaded Rebel and was really impressed. Couldn’t get past the Hemi having zero low end power. Towing at 4000 rpms is not my cup of tea. Ride was super...
You can add me to the GooseTuned crowd. Pulled the trigger this morning mainly based off of the overwhelming positive posts all over this forum. Hopefully I can add to them once I get mine installed! Went with a Goose 91 tune with the Cobb TCM tuning.

Did mine at 53k and the rebuilds are definitely better so I’d say they were due. I used the exchange program at Forged Off-road. They send you rebuilt shocks, then you install them and send your cores back to them for the next guy. No downtime for your truck doing it this way. So far my...
I have similar feelings. My 2018 Raptor and 2015 Lariat feel much the same inside the cab. I agree that the Raptor seats are more comfortable.

2018 Raptor vs 2015 F-150 Comparison
Okay so I want to start off by saying I currently own both trucks and they are both excellent in most aspects. I wanted to do a comparison of real world experience and MY opinions of both. I think it’s a pretty fair comparison given both trucks are from the...
I notice the large variations in hot/cold on MT tires. I recently had some Yokohama G003 that would do the same thing. It’s normal because the aggressive tread patterns generate more heat. On the flip side my wife has Michelin Defenders on her F150 and the pressure only varies 1-2 psi even after...
Solo...just run out the 87 and then use what you want. I usually run 91 but mine runs ok on regular so I wouldn’t worry. Lots of nannies on these engines to keep them safe. I can tell that the engine does like the premium fuel just by the feel of driving but I wouldn’t sweat the lower octane for...
Nice job! Looks great. I have a very similar truck. I run 36 psi on my E rated tires. Seems to be ok but do get some uneven wear on the fronts so I might increase a couple of psi up front.

I have Hankook AT2 on mine and they are doing the same thing. Every other lug on front inside tires. Just installed some rebuilt factory shocks at 53k miles but I’m not sure what causes the issue. My tires are at about 50% but not sure how many miles the PO had on them when I got the truck...
