I’m at 84,000 miles on my Raptor. It still feels good, but I know I should get my shocks serviced soon. Does anyone know the correct part number for the 2019 live valve shocks?
I have not used any of the Cobb maps that come with the AP. I waited and then got with @GooseTuned for custome stage 1 tuning. I’m almost done with that with him and I can tell you the throttle response is so much better! Once my tuning is complete I will post about it more.
Unless you are upgrading to bigger turbos, doing downpipes would not be worth it at the stage you are at. I suggest talking to @GooseTuned He will be able to suggest what next steps to do.
As far as sound difference, you would not notice anything. This engine is nothing like a Subaru EJ25 set...
I wouldn’t think the aftermarket spring set up in the front would fail if you only daily a Raptor. With that said, my 2019 already had eibach springs on the front when I bought the truck. So seeing the videos about the issue is kind of concerning. However, I feel like I’m not gonna reach the...
After several trips hunting and to and from work, I was able to wash my Raptor after church today. After I got it home I cleaned the windows good, then applied some Ceramic window cleaner on the outside glass. I also used some quick detail spray to get rid of the water spots that were left from...
The USB method is the way to go. The only hang up I noticed was after the update was done and after 2 key cycles, the satellite radio did its own update. After that, things were good to go.
When I was searching for my Raptor, I test drove a 2018 with 20” wheels, and eibach springs in the front. Like CleverGirl said above, it was loud compared to the normal Raptor wheel and tire set up. The ride was not as good as a stock Raptor as well. I’m glad I passed on that one. As for my 2019...
This kind of reminds me of when the fuel companies switch to winter blends, and the air temps are 50 degrees and lower. I have pretty much noticed my fuel economy went down when this occured on any car I have owned since I have been married.
I have not done this mod on my Raptor yet. My experience with other exhaust mods on other cars I have owned in the past is this, WD40 is your friend on the rusty parts, nuts and bolts. Spray it on and let it soak in. Then come back and spray them again. As SIG said above, you dont want to ruin...
I need to see if I can find the Invisible Glass Hybrid Ceramic Rain Repellent locally to me Before I buy it on Amazon.
I have already picked up some Microfiber towels.
Thanks for the good suggestions!
I normally have used paper towels when I clean my windows. Done this for years. Some guys use news papers. Would a good microfiber towel work better than the other 2 options that I mentioned above?
