Unfortunately this video is all I have before I had them put it back to stock. You can catch the rasp I am referring to at the very beginning of the video. It reminded me of when I put catless long tubes on a 350R - overwhelming amount of rasp, zero refinement and ultimately just not my style.
It gets very raspy under load. I put my stock setup back - was not happy with it. I'm sure it sounds slightly better (in cab) with rear exit compared to dumped under the bed.
It's a real problem for us who like a clean aftermarket dovetail rear end without exhaust pipes just floating randomly...
Tips cut off - no real need for turn downs/dumps from a functionality perspective. I kept the heat shield for now to protect the spare (know its not pretty)...
As I suspected it is a little raspy - not terrible but not to my liking. It makes sense as to why the borla system sounds the way it...
Has anyone put exhaust dumps on a Raptor R? I am trying to figure out where we should cut/dump. I am not a fan of the tips out the back, especially when I put the dove tail bumper on the rear.
It looks like the tips and brief section before the tips are resonators so also curious if the tone...
Are you BLIND!? - Lead Foot Grey is one of the most badass colors since 2017…
And yeah…i am upset about the alignment- some of us don’t settle for anything less than perfection especially on a $80k truck
Enjoy your day dip
@JerseyMike it’s driving me crazy - unfortunately looks like wrong weld placement on the hanger. Just don’t want to give up the truck to fix under warranty - will probably just take to an exhaust shop to fix it.
Anybody else received this message on FordPass App stating Bluecruise is available? I am yet to see the prompt while driving on various N TX highways… just curious if anyone else has used it yet or if it is yet to be released.
