The reason I have a new Raptor is that i also hit a cow elk with my 2007 Tundra on Feb 15 at 9:30 pm this year and the damage was bad enough that USAA had to total the truck because Colorado has a law that if the damage is more than 70% of the value of the truck it has to be totaled! Was...
I totally agree with the comments on the suspension and motor. I have owned trucks for more than 30 years and my new raptor replaced a 2007 Toyota Tundra that had low miles and an elk decided to argue with it for the right of way on the road. The elk is dead and the truck was totaled!! My...
First 2 posts by MDJAX I would second in spades. The instructions I got with my 3 light builders kit from 4x4 show the amps for each pair of lights. I also used 3 upfitter switches. I used #1 for the spots, # 3 for the driving/combo and #5 for the wide cornering. Adam is a gem and it is...
I love the 360 camera! Trying to get into a grocery store parking space will make you love it! The tailgate step is also a must. I am short and if I get any shorter I will need a small step stool also!!
I think someone asked for pictures of my install of the BD lights from 4x4.
Here are a couple. The cable from 4x4 is long so you have to wire tie a lot of the length to other places. Be careful what you tie to doesn't move!! The extra cable up top in the engine compartment fits nicely in the...
I just got my new truck 1 month ago and decided to replace the headlight modules with Morimoto's, but had a local guy I use for jobs I don't want to do, (like pulling what to me looked like pulling the front half of the truck apart ). I bought the Morimoto's and a triple BD build your own kit...
I haven't used these yet but I just bought a set of Nokian LT3's and they are basically a studded or unstudded snow tire. This was the only full snow rated tire that I could find that is available in 315/70/17. I will mount them on my brand new 2020 Raptor in November. I also live in the...
Picked up my new Raptor yesterday after a 4 month wait!! Fantastic truck, and now i have to spend a few days figuring out how to work it all!! I love the color and it drives like a dream.
Thank you for your kind thoughts!! No kids, just 2 GSD's. Already retired for lots of years, probably older than "Old Fart". An Elk got my last truck in Feb and the virus stopped me from getting a new Raptor until this one is delivered. Also that first step on the shop ford timeline...
I ordered a new Rapid Red 801A SCAB+ most available other accessories on 3/5! In Production 6/3. Awaiting Shipment 6/9 In Transit est 19 days . And dealer delivery 8/5. All on "shop.ford.com". Dealer says the truck is in Denver after being shipped by rail to there. And will be in well...
I am waiting on my 2020. Rapid Red, 801A with about everything else! Ordered in early Mar before shutdown and was started build on MAY 20th. Is now built and in transit to my dealer, Steamboat Motors, Steamboat Colorado. $1000 over invoice, and the lowest price I could find from 2 dealers in...
I guess I will contact Nokian again,as the only size they came back with was 285-70- 17. They did not mention 315's were available! I will check on Duratracs also. Where I live on the top of a mountain with a very narrow 0.8 mile steep driveway, I need studded snows in the winter!!
I searched...

Has anyone out in Raptor land mounted Snow tires on 17 inch Raptor rims?? If so what size and what brand? I understand that Nokian LT3's are made in 17 inch and at least one person has mounted them!
Help Please!
I don't know if this is any help, but my new Raptor was ordered in early March and I got the Vin several weeks ago which has the last 6 alpha numerics of C05842. Dealer says that he has the invoice which means build has completed and is awaiting shipment. It is a SCAB, 801 plus other options...
