One last question....
Using the LP9 cable, if I can trigger the relay on it by using one of the upfitters, I can use any of the upfitters, right? Since I'd only be powering the LP9 harness relay and it will be powering the lights.
If that's the case then I don't really need Aux1 and...
When I'm testing for voltage.....Volts....red lead to the left side of the fuse (with fuse removed) and black lead on frame ground/neg battery post...someone in the truck flipping the upfitters. Good switched power for everything in the junction box, good power on the wire bundle except for Aux1...
Pretty sure it was. It's all a blur at this point....from excitement to despair.
I'm fairly sure now that it's either the actual relay in the battery junction box or the wire itself.
Managed to get this from a Ford tech, hopefully it helps someone else for something.
So I have power at the...
I haven't got anything hooked up to them yet....just testing for power. And for that I tried both the frame ground near the battery and the neg post of the battery.
Fuses check good in hand. Have to be the correct fuses as I get power on 1 post when I flip the upfitter on (with the fuse pulled to get to the post).
My only thought still is that the wires are toast or whatever is between the fuse box and the wire is toast.
Anyone ever pulled the fuse box...
It's a 2019....I'm testing the ones that the manual has...12 and 65 I think...both are 15A split M fuses and there's only 1 or maybe 2 other 15A M fuses in there.
When I pull those fuses and test them with the upfitter flipped on I have voltage there and it goes away when I turn off the...
Thanks! I just dug up my old ODBII reader....headed outside now.
I do have forscan so maybe I'll use that and do a few other things while I'm in there.
The problem I is that my upfitter wires under the hood do not have power on Aux1 and Aux2, all the others have power.
I'm going to try replacing the fuses just for S&G's even though they seemed to test good as I have no other ideas other than take it to the dealer.
I didn't think I was a complete moron but I'm starting to wonder now.....
I got some LP4's with the LP9 harness so I thought I'd do the best thing and do the extension wires and fuse block like @MAMiller44 did here...
Just buy 'em from Justin! Great to work with....even with a pandemic happening!
I didn't think it needed new wheels at all but it was continue the argument or buy new wheels! :)
Isn't part of the point of sprung/unsprung weight is that you can adjust for the sprung weight to help handling but unsprung weight is just a hinderance to handling?
Sprung weight can be managed with various tunings and mechanical changes but unsprung weight is just dead weight.
Picked up a 2019 802a Oxford SCREW 2 weeks ago. Been lurking on here for just a little longer than that.
Love it!! The first thing we did was take it on a pre-turkey day vacation to Myrtle Beach and it rode better than the Escalade we had, gas mileage wasn't as awesome but everything else was...
