If you are street driving it might work without a perch collar, but off-road, no way I’m not sure why you would not do it. The 1.5 inch collar don’t change the ride one bit. Mine actually rides better than when it was stock. I think the 37s add a bit more cushion.
There is definitely more work involved in fitting 37s on a gen2. The major problem is the fender wells are not big enough, so you have to do some trimming and hammer the pinch welds flat.
The Gen3 only requires a perch collar and the correct offset wheels. These things were made for 37s to...
Just drilled though and mounted them to the bumper directly. The metal seems strong enough but I’ve been having issues of the bolts wiggling loose on long multi day runs. I have locking nuts on the back and it still comes a bit loose. I need to figured out a solution to keep those tight. If...
I have a revised contract with a large down payment, but this is the contract I originally signed with just my 3k deposit.
I live in SoCal and purchased in MS.
You’ll have to source your own wiring. I ran both power and ground to the upfitter switch wires in the pass Ange side kick panel. There is a ground post there that you can use.
I was also concerned about the lights not being bright enough, so I also ran some Baja Designs S1’s and mounted...
That’s going to look great!! I was seriously considering a set of INNOV8’s, but I didn’t want to wait for them. They are also expensive as hell, especially when you are buying 6. Post some pics when you get them installed.
I went with 2 Pro6 Spots and 2 Pro6 Driving Combo. For higher speed runs at night, you’ll want both. You may have already seen it, but the link below is a great resource to explain the various lighting zones.

Yep, it was pretty easy. The two inner lights were a bit of a pain in the butt to get the nut on the bolt, but I was able to tape the nut to the wrench to hold the nut in place while I tightened the bolt from the front.
I just got done mounting 4 Baja Designs LP6 Pros on my stock front bumper. Install was pretty straight forward, and only require my to remove the lower front grill. I still need to wire them up, but I ran out of sunlight, so I’ll do that this weekend.
The 37 Spare fits fine with no modifications. The shop didn’t calibrate the Speedo, but I have forescan and was planning to do that myself, along with a few other changes. I strongly doubt ford will deny warranty claims by putting 37s on. They would have to prove the 37s caused what ever part...
I didn’t take the truck out today, so I could get a photo any further away. I did just take a few measurements front and back though. The front measures 42 3/4 and the rear measures 43 1/2 (ground to top of the fender).
Thanks!! They sit a little past the fender, probably about 1/2 inch or a little lass. IMO they are perfect, but I haven’t taken it Offroad to really test it out. Are you planning to take yours off road? If so, I would not do the -12, You’ll definitely damage your fenders.
Here is a pic i...
