Great question, I believe so since the rule of thumb is any metal on metal interface should use some kind of grease. I would have to double check with my buddy who did the work though, he's the expert.

Last week I ditched my Venomrex vr602s to lock them beads up on a set of forged factory wheels. I still can't get over how great they look up close.

Those wheels look amazing in person but for some reason never photograph well. Your rig is sweet.

Agreed, no splash guards it is. Honestly my favorite looking wheel on a Raptor, especially once you see them up close in person. I love the seamless transition from tire to beadlock lip, they look bigger than a 17" rim. Only thing that would look more sweet on these bad boys are 37s, but even...

Probably a stupid question, but you remembered to remove your oil filler cap right? I definitely didn't make that exact mistake the first time I changed my oil as a kid, and the oil drain took like 4 times longer than it should have. :rolleyes:

Interesting, do the tires poke out beyond the fender flares? I currently have venom rex vr602s (1" wider rim) which made me end up with front splash guards. I'm hoping to ditch those splash guards as I've always thought they were ugly.

Just FYI I ended up using 3.5qts, filled to the lower fill plug. .25qts more than what the info out there says. Maybe it's a result of my +3 Deaver pack giving me 1" of lift over stock?

Seriously. I bet Ford would sell 30% more recaro packages if they went with a neutral color. I know I would have opted for a grey or black recaro when I ordered mine a couple years back.
