I applied mineral oil with a microfiber cloth a few hundred miles ago. Seems to be holding up well. I did not clean them prior too. You can see the before/after towards the weld bead. The exhaust tip surface looks better in person vs the pictures.
After 13 months and 5 different visits to the local Ford dealership, I finally got my exhaust rattle fixed. I started out getting the actuators replaced, which reduced the noise on cold starts for a small period of time but eventually returned. Ford refused to help me, every now and again I'd...
Decent work around, but you loose the functionality of the variable exhaust. Not sure what your truck sounds like, but cold starts on my truck w my actuators unplugged sounds like complete garbage.
MY22 had the TSB, it was better but still getting the noise on cold starts. Unlike taco-13 this noise drives me crazy. Unfortunately I’ve used up all of my *favors* at the local dealership getting them to replace my noisy/defective shocks (they fought me on the fronts), as a result I’ve been...
I don’t know about rebuilding the shocks, but I had to fight to get my fronts replaced. I was told ‘Ford doesn’t pay us enough to replace the front shocks via the TSB by a SA. Then they insisted there was no noise, made several attempts at brain washing me. The only reason they finally replaced...
My 19 ended up being a RAV. I believe there was documentation that needed to be signed by me and/or dealership that confirmed no modifications were made to the truck. Either way, hope everything works out for you.
I picked up my truck tonight, all 4 shocks were replaced and the god awful clunking noise is gone. The truck drives better than I could ever ask for. Under no circumstances are there any noises coming from the suspension. I tested on/off road. Extremely happy with the results/truck. It took...
I remember coming across a post that referenced the impacted FOX shocks serial numbers for this TSB somewhere, does anyone have the link and or have this information available I could reference?
Dealership claims they replaced all 4 shocks, and saying the noise still is present. Just want to...
Nice truck, congrats! We have a 22 Wildtrack Saquash and a 22 Raptor 37pp. The Bronco is fun but it's not comparable to the Raptor in any aspects, to include performance (it does get bonus points for gas mileage)..
I fully agree with you, the cabin noise in the Bronco is really unimpressive...
Not sure if this is bait & switch but looks to be listed at or ~MSRP

Yep, you are correct my friend. I stand corrected. Not a bad deal at all, if you're an AB guy. Wonder if they're trying to push at msrp bc it's a '22...
I agree w the OP on the factory 37 KO2's, they're terrible. The darting/wind was is enough for me.
I'd love to see some before/after pics of 37x12.5 Nitto RG's on a gen3.
I've heard the 13.50's require trimming and offset (or similar).
Just saying- some ppl like/enjoy the factory equipment. Has nothing to do with telling our buddies this that or the other thing. Everyone I know run 3/4-1 ton trucks. They laugh at my Raptors.
I'd still ask the dealership to share supporting evidence for what they're saying about the wheels (if you haven't already). Generally speaking- they make a living off lying to consumers.
My FOB lives in my 5th pocket at all times. I like the idea of carbon fiber, that would be great.
Would also be nice if Ford eventually slimmed down the entire FOB design. I have a GMC rental for business travel, am really enjoying the slim design/size of their FOB. Super convenient.
This is exactly what I have going on. Last week I got impatient with the imbeciles in the service department that were trying to convince me it's 'normal operation' then suggesting Ford doesn't pay them enough to switch out the fronts. I immediately ended the conversation, went directly to the...
