Hey guys when I start my gen 2 all of a sudden I will get a tin can rattle upon starting and driving for usually the first 5 minutes. It sounds like there’s a marble inside of a tin can bouncing around. I’ve checked the heat shields but that hasn’t seemed to fix it. Any ideas?
All of a sudden truck seems to have a sudden loss of power and is throwing this code P2535, but no check engine light. Tried clearing the code but still having the issue. Used to have the Cobb tune but haven’t installed it in a while now.
Typically happens when I’m backing up into my driveway or crawling slowly through a parking lot. I have 55k on the odometer, 2017. No mods to the suspension. No visible rubbing marks in the wheel wells. It’s been going on for a few months now, going to bring it in but I figured I’d ask here...
Dealer ended up not being able to clear the code and questioned me on if i ever had a tune. Took the truck back and was able to speak with COBB and they advised me to change the tire settings to 33.2 without having tune installed. This cleared the CEL and all seems to be good now.
i was the 2nd owner, truck was never tuned. I had the tune on for 3 years with no issues till now. Just shot you guys an email. Dealer is saying that the CEL is for incompatible communication with the PCM, this is something that happens typically when you install a tune. it will not let them...
Taking the truck to the dealer tomorrow and decided to take my COBB accessport of the truck a few days back. Once i removed it and after the 2nd start up im pulling the following codes: P05B0, P0630, and U0422. Researched it here, tried reinstalling the accessport and removing, same issue...
has anyone got the cam phasers changed and had fog lights? Im worried that when they try to raise the body from the chassis that the wiring for my fog lights will get messed up. Did the dealer disconnect everything and reinstall?
Hey are you guys leaving your fogs on at night in more congested areas? I was driving around with them on and I could tell they were blinding everyone. I’m thinking I need to get them set up better, what are you guys doin to position them so they work most effectively?
so i actually just got them running but the only thing is i have to have the BD switch connected for it to have power and work off the aux switches inside. Is there a way to bypass having this switch hooked up under the hood?
I have a light bar hooked up to the aux 1 switch that is simple, negative to a grounding spot and the green wire for aux 1 hooked up to the power for the light.. Everything works. Tried to do the same with the Baja designs squadrons to hook up to aux 2 and dont seem to be getting any power. Am...
Not sure how to even explain it but I notice that sometimes when I start my 17 gen 2 it cranks excessively before it actually turns over. It never has an issue actually starting but it just makes me worry. Anyone have this issue?
yeah i went with the same size and everything, i like the way they look and didnt wanna give up mpg for mud terrains. i had 31k on the oem ones and id say they were at about 20% treadlife.
