Yes 90k. It looks like it's sold. New owner is supposed to pick up today. We will see. The guy who looked at it said "I've looked at a few of these and this is the nicest one by far", so yea, very clean.
Super clean 2014 Crew, needs nothing, see ad below for info.

Yup, did it last year. IMO they are too stiff, makes the raptor feel like an F250, and the finish hasnt held up that great but they still look decent. Looks like we might have similar trucks.
I had seen it mentioned in a few places that there is no difference in Super Cab to Super Crew shocks. That is the part number difference. People who have had them apart detailed no internal differences.
They ride like a new F250. Firm but with a soft edge. Definitely firmer than stock. Yes I believe the spring rate is higher. 550 stock vs 660 I think. I have the compression adjusters all the way soft. I'll mess around with them when I get some time and a nice day. They gave exactly 2" of...
Today I installed new sway a ways, while doing it I found a bad upper control arm ball joint. Definitely the new noise I was hearing. They only had 20 k of street driving on them. I replaced them back on like page seven of this topic. These trucks eat uppers. Ive been thru this front end so many...
I always thought mid perch looked a little "much". I wonder if anyone ever cut a groove on the body between the low and mid settings for a "halfway" spot that wasnt so much.
I can only back in my garage, only way it fits, and i am the only one that is allowed to do it. I spent the time one day to get it perfectly where i wanted it and put a tape marker on the back wall, so when backing in i line up the reverse camera trailer ball line with the tape and it gets me...
Anybody know of a place around Detroit that can check my shock pressures and refill if necessary? I have schrader upgrades so that should make it easier i suppose.
I was in the same spot as you Hasty, I think alot of people blame that lower shock bushing, there's nothing in it that clunks, cut one apart. If anything the lower shock eyelet hits the lower control arm under compression. Check your clearance, it is designed at 5mm, I had like 2 mm. Once I did...
Don't get too excited yet. I thought there was a thread a while back about how people were ordering shocks from RockAuto and they weren't coming, they were canceling the orders because there was no product to ship. The order would go through and everything but then RockAuto would end up...
If you are going rebuild, just send them to Fox, they aren't any more expensive and you can avoid all the issues people seem to be having with aftermarket rebuilders.
The rears are easy, the fronts are more work to get out and you will have to rent a spring tool to take the springs off. Or stop...
Since GJ Motorsports wouldn't stand behind their rebuild after only 7k miles of street driving, (they were leaking and lost pressure) I sent my rears to Fox for a rebuild.
Just putting it out there that it took exactly a month from the day I sent them to putting them back on the truck last...
I bought the ones for 1" to 4" lift , they are longer than stock Fox 2.5's by like 1.5", so they won't limit the travel at all, actually allow a little more. I don't off-road much so it won't matter anyway.
I dont think its wrong if it works for you. I have also watched alot of these detailing guys on youtube, some are really over the top. Maybe out west in dry climates its cool, but all I know is in Michigan, If i spent that amount of time detailing my car or truck, it would be ruined in a day or...
So I pulled my OEM rears and sent them to Fox for a rebuild. I threw a pair of Rancho RS9000 9 position shocks on the rear in the meantime. I'll give them to my son when I'm done with them. I set them on 5 and I got to say. It feels pretty good, and the newfound quietness from the rear is so...
