Dealer in Alabama has a used 24 802 (37) loaded for $83K with 2,900 miles. Another dealer in TN has a used 24 802 no moonroof for $88K with 150 miles on it.
Resale values are starting to course correct in some markets.
Taking Raptor off the key fob, running boards, removing buttons on the dash, remove the red strip from the steering wheel, remove the torsen dif is simply....Cutting cost! The majority of buyers will never notice, however Raptor Enthusiast like us will.
Ford is not concerned losing sales by...
Removal of the buttons above the screen on my 25 looks very cheap. Hard to believe someone at Ford would sign off on that thinking that's an upgrade. Could have at least added a strip stating Ford Performance or we are cheap or something. Maybe increase the screen size oh...no that would make...
Speaking of a Ranger Raptor from what I've seen they hold their value better than and F150 Raptor. My dealer just took a 24 on trade and sold it before it was put on the lot for MSRP used with 8K miles on it. Crazy...
A used 37 where I live will only bring about 5-6K more than an 801. In...
Here is a 24 Shelter Green 802 priced less than a 24 801. Both loaded with pano roof and bedliners. Where I live a used 802 will be priced around $5-7K more than an 801.
Found the back of my cab wet after the heavy rain we received the other day. Unfortunately this is my 2nd Ford with this issue. Lifted the back seat up and the floor below the back wall of the cab is wet. Most likely the cab vents were'nt installed correctly, or back window, third brake...
I've owned three 35's and wanted to try something different. The stance on a 37 Raptor is what sold me. The Recaro seats are to stiff for me, but look great. As others have mentioned I hated the wheels on a 801...they look Tremoris...lol
I used to only use the plastic bedliners and loved them. They protected the bed and always looked new. The issue now is Ford doesn't make a bedliner that fits properly. Has a bunch of exposed holes due to the bed tiedowns etc.
I could have purchased a 25 R at MSRP where I live. My dealer had ADM's on them, just a few months ago. Even at MSRP they are not worth it to me. I would have gladly taken a 5.0 V8 in one for a slight upcharge, but not another +$25K for an R.
Just completed the deal trading my 24 802 for a 25 802. Hard deal to pass up adding a pano roof and a year newer model for my truck and $5k. Also lowered my interest rate 1%. The interest savings will cover half of the cost difference.
The $2K rebate is like a double edge sword! Great to use on a purchase, bad maintaining trade values. No worries I guess if you never trade often. In the grand scheme of things $2k on +$80K isn't a lot to get too excited about....lol
Great question! When I purchased my 24 I was looking for a white 802 with a moonroof. My 24 doesn't have a moonroof. Dealer just received a 25 white 802 and offered to trade me out for my truck and $5K. The moonroof is around $1,600 so not a bad deal to make the trade. Also getting a lower...
