They are. I've been going 100mph trying to get my school work done and haven't had a chance to figure out how to get them safely packaged or find out the cost of shipping.
I'm selling my Raptor so I don't need the bed cover or lights anymore. The cover is a Revolver x4 and is less than a year old. No tears that I have seen in the cover material. All of the hardware is there. You will need to replace the foam tape strip. It came apart when I was removing the...
I've yet to find anything that looks or feels wrong. I'll continue to listen for anything else that seems off.
I'll ask them to check to see if it's the IWE and not a gnome. I'm really hoping it's a gnome. I could train him to do all kinds of cool stuff.
The tires were rotated about 2000 miles back. They're practically new. Maybe have 3,000 miles on them. I had them rotated with the oil change/cam phaser service.
Couldn't find the gnome to take the tape from him. Hopefully he will be easier to locate during daylight hours.
I'll check the...
This is a new one for me but it happened twice today, and on the same stretch of road, just going in the opposite directions.
Cruising along around 65-70mph, easy driving. Nothing unusual. Suddenly it sounds like I ran over a piece of sheetrock corner bead. You know, the stuff that gets...
I back in my driveway with my bumper between 5 and 15 feet of the door. I have about a 50% success rate opening the door. Closing the door has a much higher success rate. Maybe 85%.
Its annoying as hell.
I just read an article on the TRX and saw some pictures. The best I can say is I'm not very impressed. The jump detection is neat but the appearance is not inspiring, to say the least. And with the starting price right around the cost of a pretty well-equipped Raptor, I can't see them taking...
The TRX is going to look like a lifted Ram, and not everybody likes the looks of them. Ford did a good job on the Gen 2 and I can't see FCA coming close in the appearance department.
Besides the looks, TRX just sounds goofy whereas Raptor sounds bad ass.
I'm guessing the wider wheels will cause some pretty bad damage if the suspension ever gets up towards max compression. However, it is likely a safe bet that that truck won't see anything more extreme than a speed bump.
It is his truck and he is free to do with it what he pleases. We are free...
They'll claim it is normal until they decide it is not normal. I can easily see dealers low-balling due to the rattle. "Well, it might be the cam phasers but it could also be something more serious. Best I can do is tree fiddy."
If you have the warranty, why not have it fixed? I understand...
I wonder how many will change their tune when "no problem" turns into no sale when its time to move on to another vehicle?
If you are okay with rattling parts, its your truck and your money. You do you. Im not okay with it and will keep going back until it's right.
Yes, I understand...
Got the update this morning. Cam phasers are being replaced as well as the guide and something else for the sunroof. Service advisor says I should have it back by the end of the week.
Is there any kind of break-in period for new phasers or just go back to driving normally?
I appreciate the sympathies but its still under warranty. 4,000 miles later may have been a different ballgame, powertrain warranty or not. I should know a little more tomorrow. If they need replacing, its good I caught it now instead of getting stuck on the side of the road. Ill take a...
Dropped my '18 off today for an oil change and moonroof repair. Mentioned to the advisor that I heard some bad sounds like there was no oil in the engine at startup a few times. I just got a text from him that it looks like I'll need them replaced but won't know for sure until in the morning...
I think i might be getting this problem, too. 2018 with 32k. Already had an appointment scheduled for Monday to address the moonroof. I guess they get another item to fix.
I would encourage everyone who cannot back a trailer to find an empty parking lot and practice a bit. Keep a cool head and pay attention to how the trailer moves. You don't want to be manuevering a trailer and the back-up assist stops working. Electronics tend to fail.
I have 2 Sea Doos on...
If I'm pulling anything, that button gets pressed.
I decided against the car. It's a neat one but I just dont have the time to mess with it right now. It's a sharp-looking car.
If anyone is in the market for a '53 Chrysler Windsor DeLuxe, I can put you on it for under $4,000.
